Void's eyes burned a brilliant red, and the floors around the group burst into flames, licking hungrily at the air.



Elfyn of the North


Elfyn leapt to the side as flames exploded around her, burning her fragile wings a bit.

Lucinda grumbled and slumped at the end of her cage, stretching her wings as best as she could.
"How about we just not fight," she snarled, glaring at the fire, "It will get us no where."

She didn't know why, but this really irked her. What was the big deal? They had found their way out, why couldn't they wait until these creatures left to escape?

Void smirked. Suddenly, he crumpled to the floor, revealing an ancient behind him. The fire subsided as well, dying down as the red glow faded to a faint red.


Indigo


Indigo stared at the bone dragon. "Now then.." he said smiling, his voice cracked with age.

Lucinda could do nothing but stand back. Not like she would do anything but leave in her place in the situation, but she was trapped. She grunted, "Can you get us out?" She asked the ancient.

Indigo smiled. "I don't know," he said, "Can I?" He stood back, smiling. "Come on, I'm not evil!" he chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm not buying it. Get out of our way or we'll mow you down," Lyric growls, feathers quivering in agitation, breath coming evenly in bursts of blue flame. Tetra's lips are pulled back to show her fangs, carefully positioned between Indigo and the young ones.

Caeci felt the vibrations of speech through the empty air upfront of him, making the strange beast tilt his muzzle upwards. The bright red cloth tied over his eyes loosened a bit, but was still covering what should be his eyes. Anger filled the air around Caeci, though he couldn't quite put where it came from. Unfolding his magnificent wings for a minute, the dragon-like creature made his way toward the voices, a puff of white smoke coming from a small parting between his jaws.



Kiba delicately placed a paw into some freezing cold water on the edge of a river, the feathers on his rump shivering relentlessly as he moved on. The river was shallow, true, but it had such a quick current in the center that it could knock an ancient rune drake off its feet and sweep it into the bay. Breathing carefully as to maintain his warmth, the dire wolf pounced toward the other side with great stamina, hoping to get out of the water before it really started to get bad.



Oni wandered through a small forest not too far from where the others wandered, her silver-white fur bright in the sun's dim glow. The dire wolf's ears swiveled as she attempted to locate someone nearby who wouldn't try to capture her, and her dark blue eyes stared into the distance, focusing on a moving shape.
