It was a pale night, when the moon was at its lowest. Frost encrusted a pool, Beside this pool stood a tall pole It twisted with in its self, like to snakes battling each other. A a pale golden dog padded toward the pool, It lapped the water and sat down, Its tail tucked over its front paws. It waited patiently for something to happen. Suddenly a small pale light flickered across the still pool. The dog flicked his tail and closed his eyes and let himself be taken by the sudden overwhelming power behind his skull. He opened his eyes again and was standing in a empty snow covered meadow. In that meadow stood a single wolf. It was sitting staring intently at the golden dog. "Come child," It beckoned warmly with his tail. The dog golden reluctantly padded toward the mysterious wolf. "Where am I?" he asked, The wolf chuckled. "You are in my domain child, And you are here to take my offering," The golden dog blinked at the sudden flood of memories, He was sent to the sacred pool to take the burden of clan leader. The wolf looked at the dog knowingly, "Yes, you will take the burden, But first you must take my offering." The golden dog sat down in front of the wolf. The snowy white wolf stood and tapped his nose on the dogs head. "I give you the blessing of clan leader, And my gift to you is 4 lives." The dog's eyes rolled back in its skull at the sudden pain. Suddenly a few wolves padded out of the mist. "I am Bristleclaw, And I give you the blessing of wisdom." The dark brown wolf touched the golden dog's head. Again, The same searing pain entered the dog's head. Another grey she-wolf padded toward the dog. "I am Flurrypelt, And I give you the gift of love." She gently touched his chest and padded back into the mist, All the wolves started walking back into the mist, except the one. "Now, I send you back to your world, We will welcome you soon." The golden dogs eyes widen with fear, "I'm going to die soon?!" The white wolf chuckled. "Time is a very strange thing here. A few moments is hundreds of years in the real realm." The golden dog breathed a sigh of relief. "I will be a good leader." He promised. The wolf smiled a little. "I know you will." The snow covered meadow started to blur. "Good bye child." The wolf's voice echoed faintly.
