DustClan is in the middle of Southern Texas where the ground is hot and the nights are freezing. DustClan have the ability to walk on the hot ground, without any hesitation and the feeling of fire on their pads. They are more suited for water, though. They are able to swim fast, run on the hot ground, keep themselves warm for a long period of time, and even jump as high as the average cougar.

H i s t o r y â–¼ Orchidsong's story goes way back when he was just born. Before Jackalstar, his mother, Loststar was leader. He was often lectured by his mental father, Mossheart. He was pushed around and bullied. He once was in a huge battle between a smaller Clan called SnowClan, where his father ran off to and joined. His mother was furious, and sent out a battle patrol to attack SnowClan over Mossheart. Once they had destroyed SnowClan, Mossheart murdered Loststar in a hunting patrol. As Orchidsong became a fuller warrior, he met the love of his life, Irisfur. Sadly, she was hit by a monster. When Jackalheart became a leader, he knew DustClan was in safe arms. He at the time was "leading" the Clan until StarClan decided Jackalheart was the next leader. Orchidsong stepped down as a elder, and lived his life peacefully in silent sadness.
