Feel the moment slip into the past like sand through an hour glass.

She is a slender, sleek-furred Donkey of around slightly less than average height. Liljana is a fairly solid shade of dark brown across her entire body, but she does have some white markings. These would include a triangular patch around each eye and another portion that covers the tip of her muzzle, including her mouth and nose. These white patches blend smoothly into her darker main color and contrast sharply with her eyes. They are such a dark brown that they appear black.

In the madness, I guess I just forget to do all the things I said.

Liljana is a fairly calm, easy-going Donkey. She rarely gets excited and almost never has outbursts. Every once in awhile she becomes stubbornly prideful to prove a point, but most of the time is flexible and willing to go along with whatever seems to be happening at the moment.
It is very important for her to savor the moment, and Liljana lives by the fact that she will die one day. In that knowledge, she tries hard to be a good Donkey to others, to work hard and try her best. She does what she can to make the world a better place for her having lived in it, and is game for anything that she's never done before. Liljana is willing to take risks for the sake of living her life to the fullest as well. So, among other things, she tends to fall in love fast and hard.

Time passes by, never thought I'd wind up one step behind.

She remembers very little of her young life, but Liljana remembers nothing pleasant of it. Her mother was not properly taken care of, and the many other animals on the property also were not receiving the care they needed.
Animal Control Officers came and took the animals away to a shelter. Liljana's mother did not recover from the poor treatment and died soon after being rescued, but Liljana was old enough to be on her own and made a full recovery. She was eventually adopted by the owners of a petting zoo, and has spent her entire life there.

History-
Soleil was born and raised at a lovely little farm not far from the petting zoo. The farm was growing old though, and so was the old man that owned the farm. The man sold the farm and along with it sold all the animals. Soleil was the only one of those animals that ended up at the petting zoo. Since then, he has lived here.
Personality-Bold and brave, Soleil is a leader of the herd. He can be a little bossy at times, and will occaisonally let his anger get the best of him. Other than that, he's really not that bad. Soleil says he fears nothing, by he's known to start acting jumpy when he sees grasshoppers.

Offspring?-"I don't have a mate, do you really expect me to have a foal?"
