Jays gaze dropped, "I know..." He woofed sadly. Looking at her, he licked her nose. "Well... I guess.. This is goodbye.." He whispered, his voice growing horse.

Lark - Akita
She nuzzled him again. "Only for now. Ill be back in a month or so." she whined softly "It'll still be hard."

Jay dropped his gaze, he heard the farmer yelling his name, "I love you, and don't forget it!" He whined and licked her cheek before turning around to go.

Lark - Akita
"I love you too Jay, I'll see you soon!" she called softly after him. She watched him run back to his new home before turning to the forest again. She padded sadly back to the packs camp. Just before she came into scent range of it, she realized that she smelled very strongly of the farm. She located a garlic patch and rolled in it just enough to cover the last bits of farm scent. She then continued walking to the camp. As she passed through the entrance, she looked around to see if the path to her nest was clear.

Jay ran back to his owner, padding his head, he turned and went back inside the house. Jay sighed, looking around, he didn't spot any other dogs so he went back into his Doghouse. Larks scent hung strongly in the air. Whining, he lay his head on his paws.

Lark - Akita
She slowly padded to her nest, hoping that nobody was awake inside the den. She sadly curled up, but a little happiness was brought by the thought that she was carrying pups.

Lunere
Nope, not buying that, but it would still be nice to lay off on him when he came back. Especially after that goodbye. She nuzzled his face gently and said, "Hey, you alrightt?"

She eventually fell asleep. For the first time in a very long time, she didn't have any nightmares.

She got back to camp and padded into Coal and her log, exhaustedly. It had been a heck of a long day, and now we had a new problem; humans and farm dogs. AND Jay had gone to join them! I lay down and put my head onto my paws and stared out, hoping for Coal to come along

(Okay I am guessing only Lunere is guarding the calf right now)
Walnut looked out the barn's window. Pink and yellow light poured onto the hay below. "Dawn ALREADY?" Walnut muttered, annoyed. Since farmers probably didn't come into the barn with guns, Walnut ignored the time of day and crept out from behind the haybales. She was not surprised to see a dog (Lunere) standing protectively in front of the oblivious calf, as she had smelled a strange odor earlier...
