To Say Goodbye (Post-Apocalypse Feral cat/dog RP, Semi-lit)

Imagine being surrounded by the ones you love, the ones who take great care looking after you just as you did the same for them. Then one day, you have to watch them fall one by one, until you're the only one left. You and many others who lost their home, all because the plague only had effect on mankind.

What will you do now? Find a new home in hope that you could find new humans can take you in? Or brave the dark streets alone despite your soft sheltered life?

Rules

1) All of Eldemore's Roleplaying Rules apply here. Review them if you have the time.
2) No godmodding or powerplaying. At all.
3) Since this thread is in the Realistic Animal section, I expect that your characters act as close to the real thing as possible, or at least semi-realistic. Cats and dogs here could perhaps be fast friends in a short time, but cats don't cry tears when emotional here, okay?
4) This is a semi-literal roleplay. While I'm not expecting people to write novels here, I'd like to see about five sentences or more in each post.
5) The only characters accepted are domestic breed cats and dogs. No wolves/foxes or big wildcats (lions, tigers, ocelots etc.) allowed.

Setting

Welcome to Wiors, a modern city built on the island of Myill. Surrounded by quaint beaches and local marketplaces by the harbor, it is the biggest talk for tourists nowadays. You just had to visit Wiors, Myill once. Some vacationers love the place so much that they decide move in with their families, friends and pets. Everyone was happy at Wiors, until the Plague came. Humans didn't stood a chance. Plants are starting to crack through the cement roads and vines climb up the walls of houses. Wild animals have run amock and claimed the wasteland that only they can call their kingdom.. but what of those who depend on man?

Pets could only abandon their once forever home and set out to survive on their own, but what of the animals of Wiors, surrounded by the deep, blue sea in this greying city? How will they carry on their lives? That's up to them to decide.

It's been three months since the humans died out.

Name: Silver

Gender: Male

Age: 1 year

Species: Russian Blue mix

Appearance: Silver boasts a steel-grey blue pelt that seems to shimmer with a metallic shine under the moonlight. He has a slim and sleek built with supple muscles which he gained from traveling far throughout the city. His ears are large with round tips and the insides are painted a faint pink with pale grey fur that sit on top of his triangle head. Long, proud whiskers sprout from his small muzzle where his dark nose rests, but the one thing that's most prominent about Silver is his eyes; Green as cucumbers and bright as day. Silver has some white patches on his left paw and some very faint dark grey stripes around his long, thin tail.

Personality: Most Russian Blues are considered extremely shy and so quiet that they barely meow, but apparently Silver takes after his father who was a very outgoing cat. Silver may not be talkative, but he isn't timid - in fact he adores company and will try his best to make small talk. However, he has some issues with trusting and usually doubts those around him. Strangers may be welcomed with open arms, but Silver will always be on his toes just in case. He can get serious and sometimes displays paranoia against others if his doubting gets worse. All this aside, if you're in Silver's good books, he's a laid back kitty with a thirst for wandering.

History: He was barely a year old until his owners started showing signs of an unknown sickness. All Silver could do was watch them decay. No matter how long he sat on their cold, rigid laps, they never warmed up. At the age of 7 months, Silver decided to leave the bodies of the humans who took care of him almost his whole life, and brave the city once called Paradise. His first goal? To stay alive and find relatives. Silver didn't want to die alone.

Silver encountered a few friends on the way, all of which had turned on him or left him at some point. Whether it be for goals, hunting or greed for territory, all of them taught the grey-blue tom that the world was not a happy place with friends around the corner.

By now, Silver has almost memorized the entire island like the back of his paw and met many other travellers.. But none ever stuck to him. It bothers him, yet at the same time it doesn't. Friends don't last that long, do they?
