Forest of Howls - Wolf Rp - Open & Accepting

They say, if you go high enough into the mountains and far enough east, you'll see a patch of pine trees dusted with snow. Everything always seems... untouched. And yet, it doesn't feel empty. It feels like there's a presence here. It's called the Howling Forest, because sometimes you can hear eery sounds, oddly like wolves howling...

Little does everyone know, it's the home of a wolf pack. They're many generations in and still undiscovered by humans. But, as technology gets more and more advanced, it's only a matter of time before someone finds them. They're at an even greater risk when the caribou start migrating... perhaps this will be the time a hunter comes across them.

If you've stayed long enough, it's time to begin reading the rules. If you break these, you may face banishment from this role play.

•All normal Eldemore rules apply.
•Do not be your own mate or crush.
•Drama and romance are encouraged. Do not overdo either of them.
•If you have an idea for a plot twist, PM me! Do not make any twist without me or the rest of the role play.
•Do not fight OOC.
•Post at least 3 detailed sentences per post.
•Have as many characters as you want, but try to role play all of them.

These are the Pack rules. They may have in-game consequences, but otherwise will not affect you if broken.

•Do not challenge the Alpha.
•Do not hunt without the pack.
•Omegas are not allowed to hunt. They must stay home and watch the pups.
•Omegas are not allowed to mate. If pups are born from an omega, they may risk being abandoned or being an omega when they are older.
•Respect all wolves within the pack, excluding omegas.
•Do not attack unless you are attacked.
•Protect mothers and pups with your life.
•Do not bargain with loners. If they are found, they are to be run off or immediately brought to the alpha.

Alpha
The Alphas are the leaders of the pack. There are two, a male and female, and are always mates. They are the most dominant, the best fighters, and the most reasonable. They are usually the only ones to have cubs, but will sometimes allow other pack members to mate. They always eat first.

Beta
The Betas are second in command. Like Alphas, there are two, male and female. They are also mates. They are the second most dominant and keep order if the Alphas are away. Alphas will almost always allow them to have cubs. They eat second, and keep other pack members away when the Alphas are eating.

Hunter
While the pack usually hunts together, sometimes there may be fighting or a sickness floating around. Hunters are told by the Alpha or Beta to bring back small meals that the pack can share. Hunters will sometimes lead the pack on a group hunt. They usually eat third, or they mix in with the rest of the pack.

Fighter/Warrior
These are uncommon, but sometimes there may be a rival pack or dangerous animals around that need to be driven off. Fighters will fight with the Alphas, or by themselves depending on the Alphas' availability. They are usually male, but the rare female may step in every now and then. One fighter almost always sticks with a group of scouts.

Scout
Scouts are also known as patrollers. Like the nickname implies, they patrol the pack border. A fighter almost always accompanies them just in case a threat happens to appear. They are the fastest and leanest of the pack so they can return to the Alpha or Beta as soon as possible.

Cubs/Pups
The youngest members of the pack. They are usually only born by an Alpha, but other members may mate, also. They either grow up to be scouts or hunters. If they are an Alpha's pups, or a Beta's, they may grow up and succeed their parents. Until they're 8 months old, they can lay around and do whatever they want. Omegas watch them when the pack is away.

Omega
The weakest, least respected wolves of the pack. They are either recent loners that have yet to prove themselves or pups born by the first Omegas. They are not allowed to mate, and if they do, their pups may be abandoned, killed, or suffer the same fate as them and remain an Omega for life. They always eat last.

Personality | Solaris is smart and wise and quite level headed for his age. He is hard to get to know sometimes and is protective of the pack. He is strong and won't back down to a challenge. He is willing to help anyone out if they need it. He is fit and sometimes, stubborn and hard to convince when he has his mind set on something. He is warm hearted, caring and friendly but cautious of strangers.
History | Solaris' parents were pack members, his dad was alpha of a nearby pack. When he was born he was different to all his siblings, and his parents. He didn't look anything like his mum, and dad. He was treated differently in the pack because of his unique reddish fur. He hated it. Eventually he had enough and left the pack, he became a lone wolf. His dad died a year later from a nearby attack, his mum was pushed down to Hunter. He created his own pack and now is alpha.

Personality | Eclipse is on edge, cautious and suspicious of strangers and a lot of other wolves. She doesn't trusts many wolves only hers really. She is timid but is speedy and fast. She very agile with her lanky legs. She is caring and warm hearted to those she cares about. Eclipse can be shy and wonders away from trouble, but will stand up for herself if need be.

Personality | Fell is Not really the talkative lad, more the mysterious type. He is stern, and doesn't out up with anything. Sarcastic at times, almost to the brink that is hurts someone's feelings. Fell gets inflamed very easily, and attacks without warning when mocked or threatened. He sees the world as a survival game. Last one standing wins.
History | Fell was kicked out of his pack, being accused of murder. Even though it was not him, he ran from them onto a mountain next to the packs territory. Up there can do a lot to a wolf, and it did a lot to him. He started to talk to himself and the snow, ripping out tufts of fur out of his tail too. He could have just gone around the mountain, but his mind went....blank. And insanity didn't fall far behind. A few days later the snow on the mountain started to melt and streams flowed down the mountain. Fell was in a cave chewing on rocks, making his gums bleed. A stream started to flow by the cave, and the sound of flowing water was enough to make Fell drop the blood dripping rocks and head to the cave entrance to the stream. He looked down into the water and saw his reflection. Then, looking down on his face, and his matted fur and dull yellow-gold eyes, he remembered his whole life and past, and broke out of his insanity. After that he made the trip around the mountain and into new territory. He jumped into ponds and groomed himself and got his matted black fur gleaming again. He started hunting bigger prey and soon he was his old self again. A few weeks after that he joined the pack.

Name | Kavik
Age | 1 year, 6 months
Gender | Male
Personality | Although born as an Omega, Kavik is quite happy-go-lucky and is quite willing to play his part in the pack; as the scapegoat for the dominant wolves to vent at. He's a very family oriented wolf and wishes to see the pack stick together through the thick and thin, even if it means throwing himself between disputes and getting roughhoused for a few minutes. Deep inside though, he has his own pent up frustrations and jealousies, but tries very hard to keep it all down. Further provoking him might just make all these bottled up feelings burst, but this wolf seems patient enough to keep them hidden for a year and a half.
History | Born from an Omega female and the luckiest to not get abandoned, possibly because he was the biggest of the litter. All his life he watched his mother be used as the pack's toy whenever they had the grumps and would always protest why, but his mother would always repeat the same thing; "Do it for the pack." Like Kavik, his mother cared for the others like her closest brothers and sisters and was obediently submissive. The young male decided to follow his mothers footsteps, but he has some plans to quietly sneak up the ranks.
