[Saren]

It is the present day, and war is still raging between the angels and the demons. Earth is a suitable middle ground for the races to meet in battle, and so they have; but they must keep themselves hidden from the humans.
Rather than take their war to the remotest areas on the planet, they have chosen one of the busiest: New York, America. Because with all the freaks already there, who's going to notice a few pairs of feathered wings, or the odd fang or two?

Name: Lirael (presents herself as "Laurel" to humans)
Race: Angel
Gender: Female
Appearance: Although Lirael has the typical fair skin and beauty of angels, her hair is darker than the usual light blonde; it is dark blonde, or light brown, depending on the light. Her eyes, too, are golden-brown rather than the typical blue, and she is not so much slender and delicate as packed with lean muscle. She still looks rather slim to the naked eye, but as all otherworldly beings do she possesses strength beyond that of even the strongest human. Her wings are large, feathered and white, and much like a swan's they fold away almost unnoticeably when required.
Brief personality: Lirael has the ability to forgive easily, but she does not forget. She abides by the rules set upon her, but has a hidden rebellious streak which has yet to show itself.

Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Physically very fit, Jake has broad shoulders and a good layer of muscle. He is tall, with messy blonde hair and green eyes, and the sort of face that you'd tell all your secrets to and then some. He tends to wear casual clothes, such as jeans and t-shirts, and switches between contacts and "hipster" glasses.
Brief personality: Jake is sweet and funny, and has a hard time being annoyed. He forgives perhaps a little too easily, and trusts just a little too much.

Race: Demon
Gender: Male
Appearance: Lust has an alluring body, and angelic face. He had inky black hair, which looked soft to touch, yet rough and sharp at the same time. It seemed to always be moving, as if there were wind. A pair of intimidating red eyes that looked like they could drive straight through someone's mind. His skin is chalk white, and his build isn't visible at most times. However, he's tall and if you can get down to it, he has an average build with some extra muscle.

Name: Electra Ariadne Dalca
Race: Half human, half demon
Gender: Female
Appearance: Electra has straight white-blonde hair and crystal like blue eyes. She generally wears simple clothing, though she has no pick unless she's to be attending a formal event. She takes on an average height, and wears clothing that is typically 'goth'. Though it isn't a part of her personality.

She hated the bus.
It was crowded and loud and overpriced. Oh, and slow. Lirael could easily have run twice the distance e was goin, in half the time it was taking her: but that, of course, would draw unwanted attention. The humans were unaware of their presence- except for a gifted few who were born with the Sight.
Those were the ones they had to get rid of.
She'd been watching one boy for a while: in his twenties, with messy blonde hair and green eyes. He was attractive- for a human- but Lirael felt no desire for him. He was below her; not just in race, but in nearly everything else as well.
She sighed as the bus slowed to another stop and people filed- or, clumped- on and off. Today was her free day- sort of- and she planned to enjoy herself.

Lust yawned. He rolled impatiently in his bed when he heard the alarms and rolled off the bed. "Nope." he said to himself as he shut the alarm off and hid himself back under the covers. Lust had been out all day last night, working on humans who had gotten close to discovering demons. He also had to deal with multiple angels as well as people who wanted psychic visions and things of the like.

Getting off of the bus at her stop, Lirael shuddered at the feeling of wrong. There was a demon nearby, and she could tell that it wouldn't be a quick kill. The stench of blood, both human and angel, reached her, and she wrinkled her sensitive nose.
Patting her hip to reassure herself that her dagger was still there, she walked up to the door of a block of flats- or maybe apartments- and opened the main door.
Stepping in the elevator, her hand hovered over the options before pressing the one with the strongest scent of demon.

[Castiel]

Lust sniffed, he sensed an angel nearby. It was something he was used to, considering the number of angels were far greater then the number of demons. But this one was too close...definitely in a position that could be threatening to him. As he made himself a quick breakfast, Lust was prepared to be attacked at any moment.

Lirael

She arrived at the floor, and the doors opened. Unsheathing a dagger, she crept silently along the hall, listening and alert.
Stopping outside a door, the stench was overpowering. She placed one hand on the doorknob, steadied herself, and opened the door abruptly.

[Castiel]

Lust whirled around at the noise. He had sensed an angel nearby earlier, though she was hoping that he/she wasn't there to hunt him down. He thrust out his arm, sending a series of shadowy crystals at the intruder. Turning his body along, he was stunned for a few moment, making the attack waver. She had gently coloured and beautiful flowing dark blonde hair. They matched her golden brown eyes.

[Saren]

Lirael

Lirael threw her arm up across her face as the shadowy crystals ricocheted towards her, creating a wall of light which rendered the attach useless. Letting the barrier fall, she leapt forwards and pinned the demon to the wall, one knife at his side, the other to his throat.
He was attractive. You know, for a demon.
Face intimidatingly close to his, she pressed the point of the knife a little deeper into his side, not puncturing the skin, but just making him aware that there was in fact a knife there.
