1x1 Lailic and Spades

[Lailic]

I shook my head. "All I do is magic... How can I help you?" I felt sick. Why was this creature after him? If it fed off magic what would it do to the forest? The whole thing was magic... I closed my eyes. This day was getting worse and worse.

[Spades]

"You can help me by bringing me to your house, please, just trust me" I say, the end of my sentence getting quieter until they go down to a mumbled.

[Lailic]

My fists rolled into balls, My jaw clenched to tightly I thought it would break. Nobody, other then Mia has stepped foot into my house. And I mean nobody. Opening my eyes I looked at him. "Fine. I don trust you but I don't think I have much of a choice." I held out my hand. "Hold on. Do not let go."

[Spades]

Please dont be flying, I hate flying, dear god don't let her be a flyer, I think. I reach out my hand and put it in yours.

[Lailic]

I grasp his hand firmly. In a moment we were up in the air. Although to me it didn't feel as if we were. I shot off towards my house. The wind roaring in my ears in the way I've come to love.

[Spades]

My feet fly off the groud and I see the earth rapidaly moving under me. I am completely speechless, I hate it every time this happens, it makes me feel sick, peiple were not meant to be up in the air.

[Lailic]

What feels like moments later, my feet fall to the ground like feathers in front of my house. Quickly I dropped his hand. "This is my home," I said in monotone. "Please come in." I knew the effects that my house would have on him if I didn't and I would rather not have him confused and making a mess of my home.

[Spades]

I take a small step foward and the sniff the air. Is their a shield around the house? Its not dangerous. But it must be useful out here in the forest. It still wouldn't be enough to fend off the beast. I walk through the shield and then into the house. "Nice place" I mumble.

[Lailic]

I shook my head slowly. "It wouldn't be so nice if I hadn't invited you in." Walking inside I looked around. Nothing out of the ordinary. "Mia!" I called. Silence greeted me. I shook my head. "That girl is going to turn my hair grey long before it's time." Muttering, I walked into the small living room. A dying fire sat across from the couch. Picking up a chunk of wood, I tossed it towards the fire. It danced slowly, settling itself comfortably in the midst of the flames. I sat down on the at chair to the side.

[Spades]

I mumble a few words to myself and I go sit in a corner as far away from the fire as I can. I take a book out of my bag and blankly stare at the pages, trying to think everything through. Why is all of this unfolding so fast, I don't have the time I need to prepare everything.
