The young Edgar looked at the boy for a moment, then glanced down at the small cat in his hands. He shrugged, "Sure thing. I'll be right here." He outstretched his hands to grab the kitten gently.

Edga had seen the boy before at school but he had never spoken to him. It was good to know that he liked cats and wanted them to be safe against bullies. He often wondered about the blind kid running around in the hallways and how he managed to see but he thought it would be a better time to ask later.

"Who are you fighting? Why?"

"Because they're being mean to the cat. I have a personal vendetta against anyone who is mean to cats. I don't know who they are but I know they're going the hell down," Lyric swears, shifting his stance and to better face the already-pretty-winded-from-chasing-Lyric-around bullies.

Well, time to see if these guys could tango.

They're already tired, and that's run off most of their anger, so they're probably just keeping up for show- wild swings and heaving chests, this shouldn't be much of a fight.

Shame. He was hoping to have some competition.

The first two fall- literally fall- pretty easily, considering. One of them gets a lucky swing in- he takes it to the jaw, and while it's not hard enough to break something or even move his stance his lip splits and blood fills his mouth, and Lyric flips him for it.

They give up quickly and Lyric spits at their retreating forms.

Edgar pet the kitten as he watched Lyric fight. He grinned almost eagerly but mostly it was because he was holding a kitten. He also knew a couple of these guys, none by name though. He wasn't even sure he knew the blind kid by name.

Man he really needed to get out more and talk to students.

He was shocked that such a small kid could take so many kids at once, but then again, no one really expects anything out of this boy. He was a trouble maker.

Well, that was good exersize.

"Thanks," Lyric says, around the blood still oozing into his mouth.

It didn't feel like it'll need stitches, just a lot of blood and probable bruising.

Now, how to hide this from the teachers- both his split lip and new kitten, actually.

Today was going to be a long day.

"How are you going to stop that from bleeding. Do you need to see the nurse?" Edgar asked cautiously. The small cat in his hands began to claw at his shirt and climb upward. He held it to his chest.

"Where did you even get this kitten?" He looked down at it, petting it's soft ears.

The sound of feathers being pulled out was the only sound in the room, Pavo's hands moving slowly up and down his leg. The fabric of his suit leg was torn open, revealing short downy feathers. Most had been pulled free at this point. No one had spoken in several minutes. Pavo was still staring at his beloved, well, one of them, lying peacefully on the linen sheets. He could hear the voices of other people in the other room, a hushed silence fell over them as well when they stopped hearing voices coming from Pavo and Silvyr... and Lesedi.

Pavo dipped his head slightly, letting tears that had pooled in his unblinking eyes fall. He sniffed loudly, grimacing at the frail hand of Lesedi, gone cold. He reached out to his side and touched Silvyr's arm gently.

"My love are you alright?" he said after another moment of silence. His other hand was still steadily ripping out the feathers from his leg. The skin was bright pink, almost red, under the sparse green and blue. It may bleed eventually.
