Cara nodded in understanding, "It hasn't been too much of a hassle for me. Are you going to come in with me? If you, such a handsome model yourself showed me to his office im sure it will look good on you." Cara lifted her chin to look up at him, he was only slightly taller than she.

"Ah of course, I cannot refuse the request of a beautiful lady," he took her arm again in his after closing the door, "Perhaps if we should meet again after this you can tell me all about the job that he has planned for you, it would be interesting to hear." He smiled brightly at her as he lead her down along the corridors toward the manager's office.

Cara beamed, such a thought made her very happy, "I'd very much enjoy meeting with you again. Maybe out to lunch?" She laughed nervously. The sound of her shoes tapping the marble floors of the hall were steady, at least she had not gone weak at the knees just yet.

Malik smiled lightly and gave a slight nod as he stopped before the doors with her, "I will be around for the rest of the morning, so if you would like to meet for lunch and speak about your future modelling job I would be glad to give you pointers, though a beautiful woman such as yourself would not need those to begin with," he chuckled lightly.

Cara covered her smile with her hand, a blush creeping onto her face, "Oh aye, I'll let you know, it was very nice to meet you, thank you for being so kind."

Cara rested her hand on the handle, taking deep breaths. For such a confident outlook on the outcome of the interview, she was suddenly scared. I'll be fine, I suppose... she thought.

Malik glanced to her then to the door then back again and gave a warm smile, "Deep breaths, you will rock it, he is a very kind man. I will be waiting for when you are free," he shifted and turned to head back down the hall and allow her to go in to her interview.

Cara didn't respond, but she pushed the door open and entered the office. The smell of perfume greeted her, and it was intoxicating. An older-looking Avian shuffled a few papers from a mahogany desk. At first, it didn't seem like he noticed her, but he motioned for her to sit after a moment.

Cara pressed her lips together, adjusted her feathers once more, and took a seat. She tried to maintain a cool posture.

"Well, good morning, I see you made it here just fine," The man said, "Shall we begin?"

Malik glanced back over his shoulder once toward the doors as they clicked shut and chew thoughtfully on the inside of his lip. She would be alright, she was already a very beautiful woman and if he knew much about the industry, which he prided himself in knowing inside and out, she would have no problem getting the job done. He slipped out into the courtyard to speak with the others and wait.

A few minutes turned into about an hour. Cara finally opened the door to the office, her face glinting with tears of joy. She had gotten the job, along with a notable compliment from the director of the shoot. She hiked up her dress slightly and jogged down the hall to the door, eager to tell Malik the wonderful news.

Malik sat in the courtyard leaned against the fountain. He hummed gently to himself, his wings curled tight up behind himself. He sighed to himself and stretched out his back with a crack and a yawn as he waited patiently for Cara to come out. He glanced over toward the building as he saw the doors opening and tilted his head to see if it was her.
