"Looking beautiful is my specialty, I take great pride in how I look. Though I suppose everyone does around here." Cara glances around the room for a moment to take in the surroundings. She absently touched the thigh of her soft dress, tracing her hands along the fabric, "I will be modeling dresses on the walk. Fashion versus raw beauty."

"Many of us yes, but not all," he gave a chuckle and lead her after the host to their table before he pulled out the chair for her to sit, "I do not tend to do quite as much of the catwalk modelling but I have done it from time to time. I doubt you would have any issue."

"I have flawless grace, if you couldn't tell." Cara-Starus lifted her arms and posed sweetly, smiling prettily. She sat down and crossed her ankles, pulling a menu closer to her.

He laughed lightly as he slid her chair in for her, moving around to the other side of the table and sat himself down gently "That's very true, I am certain that you would have no trouble on the catwalk. Do you happen to know when and where you will be modelling?"

"I'll be beginning in two days' time, though I'm unsure where. The name of the place I must go is "Starwood." I'm not sure where that is." The pink feathered girl shrugged, "I'm sure I will find it, at some point."

He gave a nod, "That is fairly well known in the entertainment district, you could ask anyone and they would be glad to help you find it. I have only done modelling there once, but it is very nice, I bet you will enjoy it." He smiled and glanced over to the waiter who moved to their table, "What might you like to drink?"

"Just some water would be fine," Cara replied, "I have never heard of Starwood, I'm not even sure what it will be like there. You were there before, can you tell me anything I should know about it?"

"Two waters," he smiled at the waiter who gave a nod before he turned his attention back to Cara, "It's a pretty large place because of all of the seating and everything. One tip I have is to head down along the side road that runs to the left side of the entrance of the building, there is a set of double doors there that will take you right into the dressing and make up rooms so you don't have to fight your way through crowds and get lost."

"Noted," Cara nodded, "Where did you grow up?"
She crossed her ankles under the table and leaned forward on her elbows, clasping her hands in front of her. She blinked a bit and then remedied, "I mean, did you grow up around here? I'm not from around here."

"Close to here yes, my parents home is only about a half an hour flight from here. We used to come all the time for different events and to-dos," he gently leaned his head down against his hands and gave her a warm smile, "I believe they still live there, however I have not been to visit in some time. Where are you from, if I may ask?"
