May shrugged, "If we find a large enough lake it would solve our problems of survival at least. If we can land in it, we can follow one of the source streams somewhere a lot more manageable. Doesn't need to be pretty far away from the ship, especially if there are parts we can scavenge from it."

Lailic felt skeptical. "Well it's hard to pinpoint a lake from this altitude. I don't see any, and if we did happen to spot one, it's going to be near impossible to tell how deep it is... " She wasn't opposed to the idea however she just wasn't sure of what was the best course of action. She brought them closer to the planet. Hoping the planets gravity would pull them around it, she'd be able to save some gas that way.

Shifting her weight to her right, May looked out the tinted windows. "Gravity will be intense. Are we being pulled in yet?"

Lailic nodded. She could feel the ship moving more with the gravity then the wheel. She looked out into the white splattered blackness and sighed. "Maybe we should just land. we don't know whats out there." she looked towards the planet. "I think I see a lake." as she leaned over closer to the window. She pulled the wheel with her, the ship lurched towards the planet at a dangerous speed. She pulled herself back quickly trying to right her error. "Looks like we don't have a choice now. Get ready for impact." the gravity latched onto the ship and pulled it down.

May lurched forward and grabbed control of the co-pilot's wheel. She reached another hand out to the general area of the landing deployment gear, hesitating, making sure she knew where the buttons were. She rested her fingers lightly against them.
"Atmosphere pressure is just under what we can handle. Large planet, a lot of gravity, a lot of gases. While we enter it will get intensely hot, the glass may crack here," May motioned to the rims of the glass shield. "Won't kill us but pressure will be lost, might pass out. Be careful Lailic."
