My Eldemore Characters; This will be mostly for my use, but you can read it and post below if you want to.
WIP

Aileen Black

Age: 32
Gender: Female
Height: 5'9''
Weight: 134 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: For-Hire Criminal
Bonds: A Deep Sea Squid Sea Serval named Cephi

Many underestimate Aileen based on her wiry stature and quite demeanor, one quick movement and they learn to regret it as all of their valuables are gone. She is a criminal for hire who will do almost any illicit deed for the right sum of cash. Whether it's a heist or assassination, if someone needs something shady done, they go to Aileen. Striking features and a penchant for black lace also makes her the object of much unwanted attention, but she is able to zip in and out of the gaze of both men and law enforcement. Her ability to go unseen is partially due to her extreme cleverness, but also due to the help from her companion, Cephi. The peculiar serval is bioluminescent, able to generate a soft blue glow and lead any sentries away from her master with cat-like agility. Many guards talk about the mysterious willow-the-wisp that leads guards away from their posts, only to have them come back to the aftermath of a crime. While thievery is Aileen's specialty, she will do anything for the proper incentive, including some non-criminal activities. She's been known as a last resort private investigator for people who have been overlooked by the normal law enforcement, using her stealth to break into places and gather evidence instead of stealing valuables. Though this is uncommon, she has a reputation with the underbelly of Eldemore as someone who will help you out with anything for a couple shiny bauble or a unique macabre artifact.

Carine (Twitch) Sharpp

Age: 24
Gender: Female
Height: 5'6''
Weight: 122 lbs
Race: Avian Half-Blood
Occupation: Shopkeep/Watch Crow
Bonds: A Watch Crow named Umbra

Carine is a very anxious woman. Born into turmoil, the poor girl has been on the run for most of her life. Living outside the gates of the Alabaster City, she and her mother ran from persecution into the Endless Woods once officials found out what Carine was, where they managed to survive for a few days. But unfortunately, Carine's mother was engulfed by the trees, much to young Carine's horror. She managed to find the settlement in the heart of the Forest, where she was taken in by a young woman who ran an aviary. Knowing what Carine was, she used her to care for the birds, talking to them and making sure they were alright. The woman made her wear a patch over her eye to hide her true identity, and she taught Carine how to blend in and temper her emotions. But when Carine was only 17, a man in the village found out Carine's true identity, and stabbed her patch-covered eye. After she was healed, she ran East, hoping to find refuge. On the way she met a group of people known as the Watch Crows, who let her join them in their quest to keep peace. She continued to move east with her new crow, Umbra. She finally settled in Silverport, where she now runs a shop full of shiny objects she finds and hoards (her father was from House Corvus, after all.) People who know her call her 'Twitch' because of her nervous tendencies, such as picking at her skin, fidgeting with her hair, and tapping her fingers on everything. She lives with a human and fellow Watch Crow named Cecil, who helps her find things to sell in her shop.

Sigrid Elkund

Age: 32
Gender: Female
Height: 5'10''
Weight: 140 lbs
Race: Norfolk
Occupation: Esteemed Drake Huntress
Bonds: A Norland Victor Dire named Hel and a Rocky Norland Fjord Sleipnir named Vidar

There are many tales about Sigrid amongst the Norfolk. She is said to be 1/4 Avian, even though everyone knows half-bloods can't have children. Maybe they say this because anyone that has seen Sigrid hunt knows that she's practically undaunted by heights. Granted, most Norfolk aren't, but most Norfolk in their right mind wouldn't jump onto a raging drake's back and dig their axes into its back as it tried to shake you off. But despite being severely injured in the past, Sigrid still hunts this rather insane way. She has always loved being up high, and some think that if she wasn't born in Gaia, she'd be one of the best Dragoons around. But with her Dire Wolf companion, they make a deadly duo who have brought down many drakes in the past. She even wears the hide of one of her toughest battles, a shadowy drake who lived in a network of tunnels and had been terrorizing a Fjord Sleipnir breeder, as a stylish shawl when she ins't out hunting. And even when she is, she'll bring along a claw or patch of scales from the last hunt just to let her opponent know what's in store for them.

Lucia Tyto:

Age: 253
Gender: Female
Height: 6'10''
Weight: 180 lbs
Race: Avian
Occupation: Heiress and Astronomer
Bonds: A Lunar Night Flier Griffin named Selene

A relatively young Avian from the esteemed House Tyto, Lucia is a scholar and a scientist. She has built herself an observatory where she can watch the stars. She spends almost every night there, plotting charts and staring through her giant telescope. Her favorite object in the sky is a lovely yellowish planet with large rings around it. She has made several drawings of it and posted them in the observatory to look at. She also enjoys reading, and has an extensive library filled with all sorts of books (only by Avian authors, of course, who would think that the humans have anything intelligent to say?) While she usually has warriors and servants to do her bidding, her family wants her to train to fight just in case something comes up. Even though they are stationed high above the ground, many of her kind still feel the unease that has shocked the ground world. But when she is not in her observatory or being forced into etiquette classes, she is soaring through the sky on the back of her Griffin. She enjoys flying at night, when she can see all of her observations in motion. And without all of those horrid humans to distract her or block out the stars with their city lights, she can see the night sky for what it truly is.

Petra Kynaston

Age: 22
Gender: Female
Height: 5'8''
Weight: 138 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Tour Guide and Explorer
Bonds: A Marbled Otterling named Marvin and a Froth Rune named Mizu

Petra was always enamored with the world. Born in the northernmost port village in Eldemore, she learned from a young age to love the sea. Her father taught her how to sail, and took her on routine trips to trade in Silverport and other major ports. She bonded with her Rune Dragon, Mizu, when she was just a child and she found him splashing in the waves on the beach. But while on one trip to Silverport during the Festival of Lights, she managed to attract the attention of a curious Otterling. She named him Marvin and took him back home with her. When she was old enough to leave home, she used her savings to buy a small boat which she named The Osprey and has been sailing around the land ever since. With her expertise navigating the waterways of Eldemore, she runs boat tours for wealthy inhabitants looking to see the wilderness. The tours can last from days to weeks, with the customers living in a spare room on the small riverboat. While she's not giving tours, Petra sails from port to port charting new travel routes for her tours. She collects artifacts from her travels: a lovely glass lantern she bought from a rather eccentric glass smith in Silverport, a cherry blossom painting from the Oriental Isles, and a little something stolen from the Ashmoors, but she refuses to tell what. Her favorite port, however, is an unassuming oasis on the edge of the desert. There, she can moor her boat and take a day's walk into Darak'i, one of the best cities she's ever visited. Even though she sticks out like a sore thumb in the desert city, she still enjoys it with all her heart, from the food to the various tourist buildings, to the lively street entertainers. Even though Darak'i is far away from the port, Petra still loves it even if it takes a bit of work to get there.

Layla Nagi

Age: 24
Gender: Female
Height: 5'3''
Weight: 142 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Dragoon
Bonds: A Venomous Rune Drake Named Mambo

Layla was once one of the only humans that lived in close proximity with some of the remaining Wolfkin that followed Hubris. Her community held sort of a tense symbiotic relationship with the Wolfkin; the humans provided the Wolfkin with goods that the Wolfkin could not get from human settlements, and the Wolfkin provided the humans with protection against the harsh desert they lived in. Unfortunately, Layla never learned of the fate of her small human community for she was separated it at the age of 17 by a rather brutal sandstorm. After almost 5 months of searching, she gave up hope of finding her family and began to look for a new place to settle. But instead of settling somewhere in the desert, she followed a trade caravan up north to The Alabaster City, hoping to find a new family out of a new crowd of people. While there, she learned about the Noble Dragoons and their unique mounts. Deciding that these intriguing people could be her new family, she decided to participate in the annual Drake Trials to try to enter their ranks. Though viciously denied by the Royal White Drakes, she managed to create a bond with a Black Mamba subspecies of Venomous Rune Drake she named Mambo. She decided not to stay in Alabaster, but travel around with the winds & help where she is allowed. The only place she avoids are the Norsland, because frankly she doesn't have a death wish. Layla has a particular sympathy for stranded people, often helping them reunite with their respective groups using her powerful Rune Drake. Though she hasn't found her family yet, she always holds out hope whenever she traveled to the desert, and though most of the followers of Hubris have died out, she will search for her traces of her past any chance she gets.

Aderyn

Age: 547
Gender: Female
Height: 6'0''
Weight: 149 lbs
Race: Elvian
Occupation: Heiress/Military Captian
Bonds: An Elder Elkrin named Acantha

Aderyn is one of many heirs and heiresses to the throne of a Northern Elvian Kingdom, but while many of the other heiresses bide their time by making music and creating art, Aderyn fights. She made herself a longbow to learn how to shoot, and is very skilled when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. She usually accompanies other soldiers on the Royal Guard on excursions across their Kingdom, whether it be on a routine border patrol or fending off a wild Rune Drake. While her parents do not approve of this reckless lifestyle, it's the only thing Aderyn can do to stave off boredom. She believes her sisters are too weak and her brothers don't let her spend time with them. In her spare time she trains many of the younger Elvian girls how to hold their own with a blade or a bow. She believes that with the recent rise of Oblivion that all Elvis need to know how to fight, not just the men. With a fiery attitude like her's, it's no wonder she has various scars from fights she's instigated. The worst has to be a deep scar splitting her lower lip, making her speech just a bit off. Her mother chastises her for "ruining" herself with all of her scars, but her father doesn't really care. While a bit ashamed of his daughter, he has given her control of a large portion of soldiers, making her the first female Elvian Captain in their Kingdom. While she knows she will never be chosen to rule when her parents die, having some control over the Military makes Aderyn content.

Aisling

Age: ??? (Looks like she's in her thirties)
Gender: Female
Height: Around 5'11''
Weight: Around 131 lbs
Race: Most assume Human
Occupation: Hermit
Bonds: A Spider Silk Sleipnir named Lilith, An Astral Spider Rune named Chrono, and a Fluffy Sleepy Rune named Daydream

Aisling is one of the odder human inhabitants of Eldemore. She travels through The Endless Forest and the surrounding Woodlands, sometimes stepping into the Celtlands. She only travels at night, sleeping during the day away from any other humans. She is one of the only inhabitants of The Endless Forest without piercing green eyes, yet the forest seems to have accepted her and let her travel throughout it. At night, she has a tendency to run into weary travelers, which is why these travelers will call her The Bringer of Dreams. She uses her Runes to her advantage; Daydream puts the weary traveler to sleep, and Chrono weaves them wonderful dreams to keep them asleep until Aisling brings them to the edge of civilization. The fact that she has such a ghastly appearance (pale as a sheet, with white hair and silver eyes, and clothes made of the strongest spider silk) doesn't help the myths travelers spread about her; whatever fleeting glances they managed to sneak of her were fueled by insomnia and tiredness. They say she is a child of the moon herself, even though she is just plain human. The forest creatures don't bother her; they have come to accept the fact that she rides through the night, keeping their forest rid of unwelcome guests. That's how she was able to tame a Spider Silk Sleipnir in the first place. But if any human tries to talk to her, she runs the other way, afraid of communication. Only a select few have heard her talk, and they have been old residents of Brittle Creek Village and a few devout mystics.

Lydia Gainey

Age: 78, but look like she's in her twenties
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4''
Weight: 145 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Necromancer
Bonds: A Scarecrow Rune named Ely

Lydia is one of the few humans who still remembers and honors Oblivion, feeling comfortable in his dark embrace. Through her studying of Necromancy, she is able to honor the human's Ancient by bringing back spirits in order to coax them to him and to finally be free. In a patchy cloak she wanders throughout Eldemore keeping an ear out for lost spirits. She has an affinity for the color blue, and at night can sometimes be spotted emanating a soft blue light through the use of magic and her Rune Dragon. While other Necromancers may channel their powers for power and fear, Lydia tries to use herself as a beacon, drawing spirits toward her and sending them to Oblivion. Like other Necromancers, she believes Death isn't frightening, and knows that when she dies she will fade into Oblivion just like every human soul. Though her powers of Necromancy are doing a good job of keeping her looking young, but it's hard to tell anyway because of the giant hood she hides behind. While normally reclusive, if you can find her she will summon a spirit for you, whether it be a dead companion or a lost relative. But it will cost you a hefty fee.

Priestess Tethox

Age: 1137
Gender: Female
Height: 6'9''
Weight: 178 lbs
Race: Avian
Occupation: Wind Priestess
Bonds: A Griggon named Typhon

The Priestess Tethox used to belong to House Morus, a warrior-caste house where she would go fishing. She received her calling to become a Wind Priestess when she was only 306 years old, and was taken under a High Priest by the name of Deogg. She trained for 500 years, during which she found her new Griffin, Typhon, as an injured hatchling near the training stronghold. When Tethox finally finished her training, the Wind Ancient Zephyr bestowed her true name upon her, and gave her a shimmering blue feather of his which she wears always pinned behind her ear. She was tasked with studying and mastering the art of wind magic, and also as a secondary task, helping to rear newborn Squall Griffins. She has yet to claim one of these rare Griffins herself, but the bond between her and Typhon is strong enough that she really doesn't need one. She is occasionally tasked with visiting Houses, to which she always an honored guest. Unfortunately, she is usually tasked with burial ceremonies when she does visit Houses, so other avians aren't always in a good mood when she visits them. She is not yet a High Priestess, but in a couple hundred years she will be the age where she could become one if she wishes. Many avians ask if she misses her old family, House Morus, to which she replies no. She has been away from them for so long that she barely remembers them; her fellow Priests and Priestesses are her family now.

Molly Forney

Age: 29
Gender: Female
Height: 5'7''
Weight: 139 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Ranger
Bonds: A Pinto Sleipnir named Pollux and a Natural Jackalope named Cookie

When Molly was young, she ran away from her home in the Fleeting Highlands to search for an Ancient. Any would do, she thought, she just wanted to find one and befriend it; to have a powerful Ancient on her side. What her young self did not know was that Ancients did not particularly want to be found, and would not necessarily show themselves to anyone searching for them. She ended up in the Spire Kingdom, working as a stablehand for one of the many Sleipnir stables in the area. She learned how to care for Sleipnirs, and eventually saved up enough money to buy one from her boss, a pinto she named Pollux. She and Pollux rode to the Capitol, where she learned about the Paladins that trained in the Southern Kingdoms. She wished to train to become one, but since she wasn't born in the Southern Kingdoms, she was not eligible to begin training. She did, however, find someone to train her in archery, and is now a skilled Ranger. She found a position patrolling the Kingdom, exterminating vermin and keeping traces of the Berserk Plague under wraps. She found her Jackalope, Cookie, under rather unfortunate circumstances. She found it's mother dead on the side of a road, and the poor thing was hiding underneath her. She took the baby and named him Cookie, and after a year of not growing, she's concluded he was a pygmy. She keeps him in her coat pocket while on missions, which makes many people smile as they see her riding by with two little ears poking out of her pocket.

Cecil Rigby

Age: 29
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0''
Weight: 149 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Thief/Watch Crow
Bonds: A Tarot Sea Serval named Jade and a Watch Crow named Schorl

Cecil's father was a Paladin from the Southern Kingdom and his mother was a painter from the Oriental Isles. When he was six, Cecil's mother sent him on a boat to the Southern Kingdom to learn to be a Paladin like his father. She thought that he would have a better life as one of the renowned Sleipnir tamers, and indeed at first Cecil did think it was fun. Spending time with his father, who he never really knew before, was rewarding. The Sleipnirs were playful and easy to tame, partially due to his innate ability to calm the creatures. But as the years grew on his interest in being a Paladin wained; the tasks were becoming too challenging, his steed too unruly, and his father too demanding. He had rumors about the great Alabaster City and the possibilities that awaited almost everyone, so one night when he had had enough, he stole some money, packed his things, and headed off to the City. He left his Sleipnir, but found a new companion in an unruly and rather serpentine Sea Serval who he named Jade. Together, he and Jade led a life of crime, working for a bigger order of Serval Seekers. When he had decided he had had enough of the city (or rather, the city officials decided they had had enough of Cecil), he headed East to Silverport, where he met Twitch the half-blood and the Watch Crows. He joined the crows, and began to grow fond of Twitch. He lives with her in her shop, and helps her get wares to sell. But he still hasn't completely given up his life of thieving, and keeps some of the things he "finds" to himself.

Isaac Naggi

Age: 24
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10''
Weight: 143 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Dancer
Bonds: An Antelope Jackalope named Onyx and an Evening Flame Rune Dragon named Leo

Isaac belongs to a dance troupe from Darak'i, and has been dancing with them since he was six. Of course, since he has gotten older and can't bribe people for money just by looking cute (no matter how much he tries), he has become quite the dancer. Acrobatics have become his specialty, and he enjoys leaping across beams and doing tricks several meters off the ground while the rest of his troupe dances. He has even trained his Jackalope to hop onto his back as he does his tricks, much to the amusement to the people of Darak'i (everyone's a sucker for a cute animal.) While he is technically part of a traveling dance troupe, they spend most of their time in Darak'i and Dune, while occasionally traveling for festivals around Eld. While things in Eldemore have certainly gotten grimmer since the release of Oblivion, that hasn't dampened Isaac's jovial spirit. He is still a rather playful person, even if his troupe has become a bit more worried over the past few months. But at least the almost haphazard positivity keeps the younger members of the troupe's spirits up, which is good for business. A happy dancer brings in more money, and more money means food. And nice food is a rare commodity for the dancers, who usually just rely on the kindness of strangers in order to get by.

Brother Rufus Viola

Age: 48
Gender: Male
Height: 5'9''
Weight: 149 lbs
Race: Human
Occupation: Liger Keeper
Bonds: A Precious Metal Liger named Pewter

The Brother Rufus has been living at Mt. Bastion since he was 16 and is now a very experienced scholar. Unfortunately, Rufus was born blind, so getting up Mt. Bastion was more of a struggle for him. But once he finished his training, the Liger that chose him promised to help him with his scholarly duties. Writing is still a bit difficult, Giovanni pens most of what Rufus dictates using magic. Rufus' chosen field of study is the history and lore of Eldemore, particularly the Ancients. His favorite to study is The Glitch because there is so little documented about it. In fact, most of the writings about The Glitch were written by Rufus. The Glitch has less of an effect on Rufus, since he can't see how The Glitch is manipulating reality. On the few occasions Rufus and Giovanni have gone on field studies, Giovanni has watched and described everything to Rufus, and Rufus interprets the information. But lately, Rufus' attention has been forced over to Oblivion, who is wreaking havoc in the name of Man. While some humans follow Oblivion's teachings, most of the Keepers are on the side of Seraphina and peace. While it is too dangerous to go and observe Oblivion first-hand, Rufus has been reviewing Avian accounts of the Oblivion War to know what to expect. Hopefully they can prevent an all-out Ancient War, but some conflict is bound to happen. Hopefully one race won't share the fate of the Avians at the end of this conflict.

Henry Ardea

Age: 265
Gender: Male
Height: 7'1''
Weight: 197 lbs
Race: Avian
Occupation: Heir and Musician
Bonds: A Lion Pride Griffin named Sasha

A son of the noble Avian House Ardea, Henry is a musician. He knows how to play piano, violin, cello, and guitar. He cannot compose, but rather enjoys looking at and playing works from lower classes; works that other musicians of his class wouldn't bother with. They carry a certain emotional weight that the aristocratic music just can't replicate, so he plays these songs in secret so others won't notice that he is 'stooping' to a lower level. He also enjoys reading, and has an extensive library filled with works from the finest Avian (and a few Elvian) authors. He could spend days upon days reading without a break, which sometimes makes his family worry since he won't come out of his study until prompted. Since Avians live such a long time, he is still relatively young in terms of Avian years and still has a lot to learn about running a Noble House. He is rather skilled with blades; his favorites being two long daggers he had made for emergency purposes. But at night, when everyone is asleep in his House, he will practice outside on the grounds with his family's warriors, enjoying the time with the gruffer and frankly more fun members of the grounds. Although sometimes he enjoys watching what other Avian Houses are trying to sneak at night; from affairs to mingling with servants. His favorite place to watch, though, is an observatory positioned on an outcropping with a silhouette darting back and forth inside the dome. While he has no idea what its doing, it must be important for someone to move that franticly. Maybe one day he'll go and talk to them. But for now, midnight music and weapons training is hard enough.

Ivo Baird

Age: 1095
Gender: Male
Height: 6'8''
Weight: 172 lbs
Race: Elvian
Occupation: Nomad/Pilgrim
Bonds: A Forager Elkrin named Ryoko

Many take pity on Ivo when they first see him, even though he insists pity is a waste of energy. Born blind in a small town in a far southern Elvian Kingdom, he was scorned by almost every inhabitant of his birth town. He was thought of as cursed, since all Elvians have perfect eyesight and he was born without eyesight. He was given the scraps of the meals his elder siblings had eaten, and withered as the rest of his family grew. Though he couldn't see, his hearing became so amazing that without looking at his eyes you wouldn't know he was blind. Despite this awful treatment by his family, Ivo remained positive about it all. He began visiting a priest of Mythandian, who took Ivo under his mentorship. While the rumors of a cursed Elvian child were still circulating through the town, the priest took pity on Ivo, while honoring his duties as a priest of the Ancient of Life by respecting all manners of life, no matter how odd. He fed Ivo every day and taught Ivo about Mythandian and the Elkrin, which rarely seemed to come near Ivo. While Ivo is still as spindly as he was as a child, he is much wiser and kinder, treating everyone he meets with the same respect no matter if they're Elvian or human. He finally came across an Elkrin who was not afraid of him, and together they left his birth town in search for the Ancient of Life. Ivo lives by this Ancient's blessings of life, much like the preacher, and travels outside Forest borders to find the Ancient. While it is rare for anyone to meet an Elvian, many who do meet one meet Ivo, who usually treats them to a quick conversation before leaving. His skin is dark after centuries of traveling in direct sunlight, and his antlers are wild and untamed with some cracks here and there. But even though he preaches kindness, he isn't afraid to fight back and carries a small array of weapons to use if anyone tries to hurt him. While Elvian kingdoms won't let just any one of their race into their borders, many guards and soldiers will let Ivo continue on with his travels once he begins to speak with them. After all, he is just a simple pilgrim.

Farran Glass

Age: 30
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0''
Weight: 145 lbs
Race: Avian Half-Blood
Occupation: Musician
Bonds: No true bonds, but he has befriended a Heart Throb Humming Bumble he calls Valentino

Farran, like most Half-Bloods, has led a hard life. Born to his mother, a serving maid and member of House Luscinia, and his father was a farmer from the Celtlands. His mother hid him from her superiors, since if they found him, they would either be thrown out or killed. But one day, when Farran was around 5 years old, a young Griffin chick found him playing with the few toys his mother could give him. Sensing he was a Half-Blood, the Griffin became spooked and was sent into a frenzy, injuring Farran and alerting guards of his presence. Farran and his mother were kicked out of the Royal House, and while his mother was allowed to stay in the Land of the Avians, Farran was sent down to the ground. The injury the Griffin gave him was severe and direct enough to his neck that he developed Aphonia, and was no longer able to speak. For most of his childhood he foraged in the forests of the Elvian, and while most of their kind avoided the young Half-Blood, one older Elvian helped Farran survive. He taught Farran how to temper his emotions in order to control his "Demon-bird" form. He also taught him to play the violin, and communicate with his hands since he couldn't speak. When Farran turned 18, he left the old Elvian to go search for money and share his craft with the human world. He eventually settled in the Spire Kingdom, and plays his rare Elvian violin for money. His music has attracted the attention of many animals, including a little humming bumble that would follow him around every day. While he couldn't truly bond with the humming bumble, the creature stays by him while he plays, and helps him attract even more attention. And while he still gets some fearful stares from new people in the city, many people have grown accustom to him and his music, enjoying the sound of the violin as they walk by.

If I decide to make/get art for these characters, this is where it will be
