The Adventures of Miraculous(Application/OOC thread!)

Hello! I assume you got here from the other thread i just recently created, as such you're probably a little curious about what tv series this is, Simply put it is Miraculous Ladybug, or Adventures of Chat Noir And Ladybug, I won't go into detail about what its all about, but the gist of it is superheroes in paris, being granted small magical fairies named Kwami, which grant them the power to do something, in the case of Chat Noir and Ladybug, it is to destroy and to create.

The beginning of the story was placed in the other thread, which is linked below, go check it out if you didn't come from it in the first place!

This means that you, can write just about any power for your miraculous user, Original characters included!

Name: Marinette Dupain-Cheng

Miraculous Name: Ladybug

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Appearance: I really hope you guys know what Marinette/Ladybug look like or it'll be kind of sad, but I'll explain anyway...
Normal form: Blu-ish black hair worn in short, low pigtails with a white/pink flowery shirt and black jacket. Hot pink jeans and a light pink purse which her kwami hides within during the day and school hours. Black earrings.
Miraculous form: Red and black spotted skin-tight jumpsuit with a classic mask in the same pattern. A yoyo "tied" or "draped" over her waist, which is her main weapon. Red and black spotted earrings.


Past: Parents own a bakery, loves drawing and designing, can't say much since the Origin episodes haven't fully aired yet.

Personality: Kind, caring, selfless, easily embarrassed, lovesick, clumsy, low self-confidence/self-esteem, sometimes impulsive.

Quirks: I did some research into this and couldn't find anything. If anybody knows of any Ladybug quirks let me know :)

Miraculous: Ladybug, enough said.

Kwami Appearance: Red and black dots, chibi appearance, little antennae and it flies around often eating

Weaknesses: Unknown, Adrien saying he hates her? Chat Noir abandoning/hating her? And genuinely meaning it, unlike in the Dark Cupid episode where he gets taken control of by an Akumatized victim.

Name: Lyra Aki Naotsugu

Miraculous Name: None

Gender: Female

Age: 16 and a half

BASIC Appearance: Long brown hair with hazel eyes. Outfit varies on the occasion, but usually wears a (flowy?) loose blue long sleeved shirt with Aztec-styled patterns decorating it. Her shorts are usually black and she wears a set of kind of converse-styled blue shoes with yellow streaks and the occasional black. She likes to wear a necklace which looks like a carving of a turtle.

Past: Not much is known. (aka, I haven’t been able to do any development roleplays). Moved from her old school from a small town off of Paris. She convinced her parents to move her to another school because of her issues.

Personality: Timid, shy, nervous, but can open up (if you're lucky ), When open can have the traits of optimism, kind-heartedness and a trait that I cannot explain. Would stand up for others if she decided not to be a total biiiiieeeeeeach ball

Quirks: Gets nervous really quickly. Hates public speaking.

Interesting fact: She hates going and talking to new people, but secretly would love to have a friend that she could talk to.

Hobbies: Likes to draw to keep her mind off stuff. Keeping her parents proud. Reading. Long walks on the beach

Miraculous: None

Name:Adrien Agreste

Miraculous Name: Chat Noir, or Black Cat, Translated is Cat Noir. but hey i like the other better.

Gender:Male

Age:17

Transformed Appearance:As Chat Noir, he wears a textured black skin-tight catsuit with metal details and a golden bell on his chest. The bell is connected to a zipper on the front of his costume. He has a long belt that wraps around his waist and hangs out from the back like a tail. He wears matching gloves that have claws on the fingertips, and boots with a hidden wedge and silver toes. He wears black cat ears and a black mask covering around his eyes. His eyes are cat-like with green sclerae, darker green iris, and oblong pupils. His hair becomes longer and untamed, covering his normal ears. His ring turns black and gains a green paw print in the face of the ring. Although in his opinion his outfit is made of boyfriend material, he is certain his lady would agree on this matter.

Appearance: He wears a white over-shirt with an upturned collar and sleeves rolled up above his elbow. Underneath, he wears a black shirt with five horizontal stripes around the chest which are colored, from top to bottom, yellow, olive green, bright green, dark green, and periwinkle. On the ring finger of his right hand, he wears a silver-colored ring that he uses to transform into Chat Noir. Additionally, he wears blue jeans and orange sneakers with white laces and a logo of a black butterfly in a circle on the sides.

Past:At the age of 12 Adrien had lost his mother in an accident, she was never found after she had ran away.. or been kidnapped, after a year a funeral was held, he was never quite the same after that, his mother was someone very important to him, as such he made the decision to talk to new people, involve himself further in his modelling work and avoid talking to his father, this made for a rocky relationship between the two and further increased the distance between father and son.

As he grew up he slowly begun thinking about how it would be nice to get away from the house, even if it was for a while, just to escape from the company of his father for a while, so he managed to convince his baby-sitter, or more accurately Gabriel Agreste's Secretary to enroll him in a school, although she was hesitant she had managed to convince his father this could help their relationship along with Adrien's mood set around his father if he just maybe had someone to talk to, or someone he could trust about this whole thing.

Personality:Adrien is charismatic, as well as shy and a bit reserved. While liking to have fun, he is more serious, obedient, and less lively due to his strict upbringing. If something makes him sad, he tries to downplay his feelings on it, like his relationship with his father. He thinks reasonably, and he will express annoyance and frustration when someone is being difficult or something is going wrong. Though not very openly emotional or affectionate to most people, he is friendly and encouraging, and, for those he is close to, he has an easier time letting his feelings show.

Transformed Personality:As Chat Noir, Adrien, having the freedom to act however he wants outside of his normal life, lets his wilder side come out, being cocky and outgoing. More optimistic and open, Chat Noir says whatever comes to his mind and makes a lot of jokes and puns, many being cat-related. In his attempts to get Ladybug's attention, along with other people, he brags and boasts about himself, but his change to his superhero status doesn't diminish his kindness and concern for others, among a lot of his other personality traits like irritation proneness and loyalty. While more prone to goofing off, Chat Noir gets serious when needed, like when fighting an akumatized villain. It's rare for him to reveal his Adrien-Like side, He is determined to help others and save the day, Cat Noir really cherishes being a superhero and uninhibited by his civilian life.

Quirks: Day-dreaming about Ladybug is really the only one i could think of on the spot.

Miraculous: Silver-colored ring on his ring finger.

Kwami Appearance: Plagg is a small black creature with a large head and small body. His appearance is very cat-like, having cat ears, a tail, two cat fangs, and green cat-like eyes, along with one whisker on his forehead and one whisker on each cheek.

Miraculous Granted Weapon: A long metal pole that can extend forever and is mostly used like a fencing sword, despite the fact it isn't that effective bad that way, i mean of course.. pfft

Weaknesses: Having his lady reject his affections completely or asking him to just give up already, its bothersome, generally just being rejected by his lady completely, feeling useless in comparison to how awe-shocking his lady is(dude that happens often man. ur gonna be akumatized b4 the end of the next year.)

Name: Alya Césaire

Miraculous Name: Volpina

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Appearance:Alya is brown-skinned and at a medium height with golden eyes. She has dark reddish-brown wavy hair that goes to her shoulders, the tips of her hair a lighter shade of red. Above her right eyebrow, she has a beauty mark.

She wears black-rimmed glasses with a light gray spot on each side, a white tank top underneath a plaid shirt with white, orange, and purple stripes, light blue jeans, and white sneakers with black tops.

Transformed Appearance:Volpina's Appearance is that of a young italian girl, she has dark brown eyes, unlike Alya who has bright gold eyes, she has a lovely some-what hourglass figure and a skin-tight orange suit, occasionally dabbling in brown colors to express what she calls.. Foxy? Of course this could be considered untrue, as her beauty mark that is normally visible is hidden underneath her bangs on her forehead, in their dark-brown state because of the transformation, she also gains a tail unlike chat noir, it is actually a proper tail with nerve-endings and all.

Past: Alya has nothing note worthy to her about her past, She was one of the people who gained a miraculous after Adrien and Marinette, despite her excited cheering when she first obtained it, that she could help her real life super-heroes now, properly and get close up with all of them and maybe.. just maybe help both ladybug and chat noir get together properly, she has a few ideas how to go about it, but shes never met the two just yet, apart from her civilian form of course.

She had a father, but he left her at a young age, leaving her mother to take care of her, she holds no resentment towards him, but shes always wondered what he was like since her mother doesn't particularly like talking about him or their relationship much at all.

Personality: Alya is a rather energetic and passionate yet down to earth and smart girl. She is extremely loyal, supportive, and helpful, like going out of her way to encourage and (sometimes literally) push Marinette into spending time with Adrien. Her cleverness and foresight have come in handy many times. After Marinette thinks she accidentally lost a video of Ladybug on Alya's cellphone, Alya explains that she had already posted the video on her blog, expecting something to go wrong when she showed Marinette the video. From thoroughly observing Ladybug and Chat Noir while in action, Alya has figured out the basics of the superhero's work, like breaking the akumatized object to stop the villain. She doesn't like being undermined or doubted by others, especially when it comes to her work.

Whilst she is Volpina she tends to be a little more sassier, as if she feels free and un-restrained as her own hero form is a way to let loose, she enjoys being just that little bit more sassier or sly about her comments around the two heroes, it doesn't mean much to her about how she uses her powers, since she doesn't think its wrong to use them in the way she has.

Quirks: Obsessive over Ladybug and Chat Noir? I can't think of any others.

Miraculous: A bracelet that has a grey look upon it, unless she transforms into Volpina, which turns it orange and white at the end of the fox charm in front of it.

Kwami Appearance: A orange fur coated kwami with a fox tail and two whiskers and bright brown eyes to match and a some-what cheeky personality to bundle it all up into a fox fairy.

Miraculous Granted Weapon: A flute, this flute with each different tune possible, it allows her to gain a different power, though nothing quite as awe-shocking as ladybug's or chat noir's, it still does the trick.

Weaknesses: Being forced to stop helping and talking to her heroes, or stopping her blog because of how dangerous it could be to her secret identity.
