Back when the site was originally built, moderators would be assigned specific boards to monitor (for example, one or two moderators would be assigned to the trading boards, or the discussion boards, or the roleplay boards, etc.). Whereas, Global Moderators were not assigned to any specific board and had a few additional moderating permissions. This distinction was eventually done away with, so as far as I'm aware there's really not much difference now except that global moderators have a few additional board moderation permissions (though, if anyone is aware of anything else please do add to this or correct me).

You can go to any moderator if you ever need us to resolve something, and the whole staff team is always happy to help answer any and all questions and help any user. <3
