Pets are assigned rarities based on how many of them are on eldemore versus how many users there are to collect them.
A black stone means unknown rarity - they haven't been tallied yet
amber/orange means ultra common - they're very easy to find
emerald/green means common - they're easy to find
sapphire/blue means uncommon - they're not as easy to find
ruby/red means rare - they're not very easy to find
diamond/white means ultra rare - they're not at all easy to find
rainbow/prism means legendary - there's less than 300 of them altogether
Rarities change when more users join and change the ratios, an uncommon pet can be come rare.
Trading depends on each person generally, some people trade their rare pets for bulk common pets, or the other
way around, or want other things instead to make up the difference. They're a trading aspect that can be utilized during auctions or for offsite trading for other currencies (not real life ones, though).

I haven't gotten a response in months so I'm posting here instead. Are old CS designs still being transferred to accounts? Or has that process been halted? Just wondering if I will be getting my rune on here and if so what the wait time looks like?

There is still plans to transfer CS custom designs to the site, but I believe they're on hold at the moment while the sites' code goes through some revamping and until our coder has the freetime to do them all; thank you for your patience! It'll, all things going well, not be too much longer, but I'm afraid I can't give you an ETA ^^;

I honestly have nooo idea where/how to ask this, but...
I've been looking at a screen all day at work, and I've been noticing my eyes are having trouble focusing today... For the life of me, when I look at my chillawings on the screen, I cannot tell most of them apart and I can't tell which ones I'm missing. Like I can vaguely tell they are different when I look at the outcomes thread, but when I go to my homestead and try to zoom and compare, I can't see it. Could I maybe trouble someone to post pictures of which ones I'm missing and which ones I have so I can copy them for the swap thread? Or where could I ask someone to do that, if I even can ask? They're in the first page of my ungrouped section.
I'd rather not wait until they're all grown and in the codex if it can be helped.
I'd really appreciate it. c:

Items are released during events throughout the year, and in the bazaar! You can buy as many bazaar items a small you want, but the event items you only get 1 set of.
There isn't an item trading system in place yet, so if you missed any event items, there isn't a way to recover them unfortunately.
