Rarities on Eldemore do not take popularity, opinions or designs into account.

Rarities, and the amount chosen to represent each rarity, are subject to change over time as the site grows.

Rarity Stone Guide:

Prism- Legendary (> 300 pets)
Diamond- Ultra Rare (> 650 pets)
Ruby- Rare (> 1635 pets)
Sapphire- Uncommon (> 2619 pets)
Emerald- Common (> 3603 pets)
Amber- Ultra Common (> 5000 pets)
Raw Stone- Unknown

Here is a general Trade Aid list for popular or valuable Eldemore pets.

Is the rating system (for example) on a scale of one to ten, one being the best or the worst?

No, this was a simple set up I had for the beta testers during the two months they were helping us prepare the site.

But I'm glad someone asked about this. There will be an actual rarity system in the form of precious stones. They are based on the number of members and the number of creatures on the site.

They are as listed:

Diamond- Ultra Rare
Ruby- Rare
Sapphire- Uncommon
Emerald- Common
Amber- Ultra Common


This post will have a major edit with an up to date count of all site creatures on September 1st. A black 'unknown rarity' stone will be added to pets in homesteads sometime this month. They will change to show rarity at the start of next month.
