Everytime I see his hair he reminds me of someone's character I used to role play with in 1x1 on CS.
They weren't human characters though. They were Taikea's ^^

This is my character, Wolf/Vancha. I roleplay and write with him. He's been my character since I was 12, so he's very special to me. Art by an old friend on Mweor.

Does anyone else feel like bridging the gap between a written character and visual character can be difficult, like coming up with a good design to suit your concept or writing a detailed personality for a character that you only have art for?

Yes. It took me years to put Wolf into art, through descriptions and someone who was very clued into his story, but I'm revisiting him again after a few years away from writing, and though his reference was right at the time, I guess he's grown up with me and it's not quite right. I find it really hard, though I can see him in my head, to put it to paper.

@Sphye: Absolutely. One of my first rp characters, Khatuh, has yet to ever be drawn...as well as several other old rp characters. Art just...never looks right for them.

Sheer wouldn't let me delete a random sketch so I went ahead and vectored it XP
