I hope it's alright if I join! I'm not a very active gamer, but I'd love to be able to discuss with everyone and talk about the few games that I have gotten around to playing!~

Favourite genre(s):
Hmm, hard to say. Two of the three games I googled the genres for had the Simulation Game genre in common, so I'll hesitantly go with that.
Favourite game(s:):
I really love Spore. Spore gets a high rank, for sure. I also play Animal Crossing, which is always cheery to visit, and I've just purchased Ocarina of Time to the 3DS. (Of course, who doesn't love some version of Super Smash Bros. or another? I love playing as Kirby and just move-spamming until everyone hates me.)
Timezone:
CST
Other:
I just got Ocarina of Time the other day, which is what prompted me to post here! I know I'm quite a few years late on getting to play it for myself, but it's as though the hype never dies for games like that. You could say it's... timeless?

Thus far I've managed to get through the Dodongo Cavern and earn the Goron's Ruby.

My family had the game for the Nintendo 64 when I was younger, but I seldom got a turn to play. I watched my siblings play, though, so it's still very nostalgic for me. ^^

I beat Ocarina of Time last night! I have to say, *spoiler alert* Zelda looks amazing as Sheik. I didn't know until I was talking to cj about it that Sheik is meant to be a boy. Zelda should totally use that disguise more often, though. A+++
I loved the scenes after each temple when the Sages would awaken! I <3 Nabooru tbh
The way the ending is presented leaves me curious, though. Since finishing the game on the 3DS version unlocks "Master Mode", is it safe to assume that Link/the player enters a timeloop after Zelda takes back the Ocarina of Time? I could foresee hundreds of possible explanations for what exactly happened and what happened after, but in the end I guess it comes down to theories.

I'm pretty proud of myself for beating the game!

That's awesome Sphye! I'm glad that you liked it ^^ XD I agree about the Zelda thing completely lol I also really liked the sages awakening and the little comments that they make to Link as he works through the temples <3

Master mode is like a hard-mode of the game, it just starts the game over on a harder setting with some different puzzles in it from my memory <3 The storyline of the Ocarina of Time Link actually does continue on in the story of Majora's Mask ^^

Me and my brother went halfsies on "Rocket League" a few days ago and i have to admit it's such a fun game!! Been after it for ages, and was debating buying it on the PS store, but we were too tight with the money, hah. Then we saw the version with all the extras for £20 in a shop and bought it. And i am super glad we did. Only problem is dad is fixing a load of computers in the room with the PS, so we can't go on it for a few days.

I assume your going nuts over the imminent release of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Because my brother is. I've got like less than two weeks to bug him before I lose him to that game completely. We will never see him again. Though I know he is worried about the game being meh. As his hopes are so high, heh.
The new Toukiden game is out the day after as well and I have to admit I want to play it. I liked the last one.

We went halfsies on Horizen: Zero Dawn as well, but I have to admit I don't like it. I've got bored of it already. And I've got a bit bored with The Last Guardian too.
