Well, that is not entirely true.
Bena once said they can be traded like normal eld pets, so if you can find someone willing to trade one, then you can have one of the unique/custom runes or elkirins ^^
But no new ones will be created, unless bena or jen decide that they want to gift some one special with one, wich would be pretty rare xD
