I love creating beautiful colorful art!

No tablet unfortunately, I doodle and sketch traditionally. My favorite and best medium would definitely be watercolor. I love all the possibilities, they're so bright and vivid and easy to manipulate with limitless possibilities. Here's an example of my "style", this is something I did for fun as a gift for my friend.

Paracosm
A paracosm is a detailed imaginary world. Paracosms are thought
generally to originate in childhood and to have one or numerous creators.
The creator of a paracosm has a complex and deeply felt relationship
with this subjective universe, which may incorporate real-world or imaginary
characters and conventions. Commonly having its own geography, history,
and language, it is an experience that is often developed during childhood and
continues over a long period of time, months or even years, as a sophisticated
reality that can last into adulthood

I love traditional sketching, I have loads of full books from my sketches (and sometimes finished grayscale images). I never use colour in traditional though, but I do want to try some different materials for traditional such as charcoal and pen wash, or at least more often (we're using charcoal in school right now actually)

On the computer I almost always use colour and I generally don't leave sketches unfinished and I love doing fan art of my characters I'd like a tablet to draw with, but I'm so used to drawing with a mouse I'd honestly prefer to go on without the tablet. I bought a tablet before but we lost the pen, I think we may have binned it.

While I don't have any traditional examples, I do have a digital example here;

A lot of my art is slightly cartoony/unrealistic however I do like trying realistic art every now an then ^^

I would love to try out photo manipulation and photography, and maybe water colour, but I haven't tried anything with them as of yet.

Backgrounds however my my ultimate weakness.

Whilst I don't have any traditional art examples, I have one digital pokemon design of a dolphin - based pokemon named Dolphining (lightning and water type) ^-^

here's the transparent version:

(you may use this art if you want, but just remember not to remove the signature c:)
I used PaintTool SAI, and I used the Mac's editor to transform it to a transparent image. Hooray me.
*yes I tried to make the signature like Grifforik's signature but I failed ;n;*

Also, art critique is accepted!

Which medium do you use?
both. :>
I like doing both digital and traditional art, I mostly do digital, though.

I've done art my entire life, been to two different art schools [yet due to personal problems I ended up canceling the 2nd one].
and considering I've done art my whole life I'm actually not even as good as I probably should be.
there are people who have done drawing a few years and are way better than I am, ohwell.

I can make realistic art, but I prefer drawing in my own style way more, it's easier and faster.
I never have patience for things.

here's my latest realistic drawing, made it a few months ago but I just haven't been up to make another one.
I almost always make realism traditionally, it just never turns out good enough digitally.
this is Lee Pace, one of my favorite actors. :>

I have more digital art references.

here's my deviantart if you want to see more: [link]

I doodle traditionally quite a lot but I have lots of things I never finish and I never bother taking photos of them.
I also have a lot of drawings left from art schools, but I'm too lazy to look them up.

@ Tex
That is amazing, it's so original.

@ dwarjam
I looove your style! All of your art has such a whimsical look to it. :)

I am horrible at art, but I can't say I actually try. xD SO don't mind me, I'll just be gaping at all the amazing artwork on this thread. *sinks into the shadows*
