Contest Rules (Updated 8/15/15)

If you create or start a contest you must give a clear end date and prize(s). You must provide an end date at the start of a competition. No contest may last or be extended longer than 2 months.
You must award advertised prizes to the winner. If you do not provide or trade away the promised prize you will face a board warning for scamming and will have to compensate the winner(s) with a prize of equal value. If you ignore reported issues concerning a contest you've held then an admin will remove the promised pets from your account and place them into the winners account.
You must claim your prize within two weeks. Things happen and sometimes a winner may not be able to immediately claim their prize. All contest holders must reserve the prize for a maximum of two weeks. If after that time the winner has not claimed their prize, the contest holder may choose another winner.
You cannot change or subtract prizes. If you are not comfortable parting with any pets then don't offer them as prizes. You are free to add more pets to your contest at any time.
If you enter a contest be respectful of the member running the contest and fellow competitors. Do not harass other members for any reason. Do not mock or be rude to others for winning or losing.
If you enter a contest be mindful of the end date. Contest holders may extend the competition if they feel members need more time. Do not pressure them to extend the end date.
Contests are supposed to be fun little competitions for members to enjoy and showcase their talents. If you are constantly stressed or irritated with contests or contestants if may be a good idea to take a break from them.
