=Introduction=

Why hello there everyone! It's a pleasure to me to present you the NEW and shiny sparkling EldeTimes edition!
It's been a long time on our Journey throughout the lands of Eldemore. Many things have changed, while many other things have stayed the same.
Slipslops still appear to have eight legs, while Ligers now decide to sit down once they are adult, typical for feline species if you ask me, wouldn't surprise me if the next feline species line update would feature Sea Servals sitting on a shelve, pushing down your expensive crystal vase. *cough* Uh- where was I? Oh! Yes! Without further ado, I wish you lots of fun with the new version of the EldeTimes! :D

=Breaking News=

    General Helper takes over EldeTimes!
We got information that a furious General Helper with definitely too much free time took over the EldeTimes project and claimed it for herself! Rumors speak that other staff member will join her along the road to make up an even greater version of Eldetimes(Not to say that the EldeTimes isn't already great as it is now ;D)

All Hallows' Eve runs out of hand
Just as of late we got information that a mysterious Rune Dragon in a witch costume managed to motivate hundreds of users to collect gross candy for her. Not only is the way they collect those candies suspicious, no, we also heard that among those candies are several pets hidden. Please be aware that candy will get stuck on those pets fur, please refrain from consuming either the candy, or the pets stuck on those. Thank you!

"Necromancers Put the "Fun" in "Fundamentally Disturbing"

The recent release of Oblivion on the world three years ago has brought with it an outpouring of necromancers. This has, on occasion, resulted in less-than-friendly interactions between Eldemorians and their more macabre neighbors. One group is looking to change all that.

The group, who has opted to remain nameless for reasons undisclosed, is holding its first annual Festival of Reanimated Dead Things and invites all Eldemorians to attend. "We did consider other names," said one spokesperson. "More punchy. You know, like 'The Shinbone Shin-Dig', or 'The Dead Pets Walking Parade'. That one was mine. Bill pointed out that this would exclude pets that fly or swim or were missing limbs and blah, blah, blah. So we opted for the most literal thing we could think of."

The festival will feature 'live' demonstrations of dead pets being brought back to life, and youngsters are encouraged to dig up and bring their long-lost cuttlefish and guinea chillawings along. If you're not the reanimated-pet-type, you can surely enjoy the creepy puppet shows, disturbing carnival games, heart-stopping fried foods, and skeleton sleipnir rides, not to mention the top-secret surprise show at the end of the night, but the heart of the event is in its showcase of the art of necromancy.

"It really is a shame how young people just aren't being exposed to these ancient arts," said one of the group's primary members, Isweer Imoccent. "People take one look at a liger with its innards spilling out, or an otterling missing its head, and they think this is all necromancy is, but it's so much more."

Later this month, while children ready their costumes for All Hallow's Eve, Ms. Imoccent and her colleagues will be raising countless dead pets to take part in the festival. But the cadavers aren't the only things being raised. Some citizens have voiced concerns about having reanimated corpses handling food and ticket sales, but the group was quick to silence them. "I've known corpses all my life," said one necromancer, "and not a one has ever gotten so much as a cold." More concerns were raised over the possibilities of some zombified creatures attacking the attendants, to which the group put out a statement assuring Eldemorians that they have nothing to worry about. "Heck - most of you walk around every day on top of corpses. If they wanted to rise up and eat the flesh of the living off your bones, a couple layers of dirt isn't gonna stop them." To which no one could voice a real counterargument. The statement continued: "There is nothing to worry about. These rumors about using the festival as some massive cover-up to gather together hundreds of like-minded necromancers and willing victims in one place to perform wacky ancient rituals in order to summon our lord and master Oblivion to ravage the local populace that has unjustly been persecuting us these past three years - just... pfft. I mean, that- that would just be stupid."

The festival will go on, it seems, despite objections. "Bring your kids!" says Ms. Imoccent. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"

Felix - Polly44

September Stark - HalloweenTheHollowQueen

Image
September Stark, a tall, pale young woman with raven black hair and purple eyes. She was orphaned at a very young age and has been on her own most of her life. She is an animal empath and is far more comfortable with creatures of all shapes and sizes than with other humans. She spends her life wandering from place to place using her gifts to help creatures in need.

Livingdebgirl - Livingdebgirl

Image
This is my persona here on Eldemore, and although she tends to change a bit with the seasons, Events, and the Adventurers she finds herself in, some things about her appearance remain the same.
Livingdebgirl is a Necromancer that follows the Old Lore. An Adventurer at heart, she spends her days traveling around Eldemore, looking for excitement, inspiration, and new friends!
Not a Fashionista in any aspect, she chooses clothes for protection, ease of weapon use and comfortableness.
The mask she hides behind protects her identity as a Necromancer in the now unstable Eldemore atmosphere, along with protection. Her gown allows a hiding place for many weapons from knives to Shuriken.(Good for those hand-to-hand combat scenarios!^^)
On her Belt, she carries the Keys to Edgecliff Estate, her home away from home in this World, as well as a tool belt that has been a godsend on several occasions in her Adventures!
Sometimes she carries spears, swords, or bows and arrows. it all depends on where she's going, what she has to do, and what works best.^^
She always has her creature companions with her. Most she adopted from birth but others have found their way to her for many reasons. You just never know what abilities and innate behaviors a pet possess, so it's best to collect them all!

Ari - Mavric

Image
Ari is not your traditional Elvian, he was born very weak and sickly and was left to die as a baby which he would have if it weren't for the elkrin Andy who is both his care giver and his beloved bonded elkrin. Andy raised the small Elvian as of he where her own. To this day Ari is very skittish and doesn't associate with others often. He is a shy little man.
