Oh man, right when I'm going have better free time next month. XD
Sounds exciting and the hiatus sounds like a good subplot speculation for the lore.
Now I'm excited to see next month's pets as they greet me farewell until next time.
I will still stalk around every now and then. I just wish all the staff a smooth transition.

I've seen the answer for a potential reopening email which is yay! My other question would be to the mention of possible freebies. If there are some released will they be left up for the term of downtime or limited and if so what might be the expected duration?

Whatever we release will probably be left up for a reasonable amount of time, but probably not the full duration of the break. You might just want to check in on Christmas, New Years, etc.

I'm super sad and super excited both at once. But don't care about me, take your time! I'm absolutely sure the result will worth the waiting.

Okay, so will there be adopts on Dec 1st or not? I'm so sad, December is my favorite month. I understand why it had to happen, but why not just wait until the new year to start it?

Yes, there will be monthly releases for December, those will be the last for now. That's just the timing that worked out best, I didn't want to engage in another event right now because it would ultimately set us back from our long term goals, which are more important to the future of the site.
