As we near the two-year anniversary to the site's break, I've found myself wondering often if we'll ever see this amazing place back in all it's glory. I'm glad to see it's still being worked on. Your commitment is appreciated. Thank you for keeping us updated, and of course, for all of your hard work. Please take care, Zayin. ♥

Yep, I agree, not sure what you mean by "petpreview", but everywhere on the Site, in all 'Homestead' Groups I mean, I would also prefer to have the "real" (Adoption) Date than some "235 Days"/"758 Days" Info which doesn't mean much as I need to mentally recalculate from which Year/Month/Event this Pet was...

And I do use the (too short) Pet Name for that, but that Name (25 Char is often way too short).
Code: Select all
    (MomsDay 2019)
    [Ruby - Rare]   Rare
     124 Days

Code: Select all
    (St Patrick 2019)
[Diamond - Ultra Rare]   Ultra Rare
     179 Days

And Adoption Date hopefully/preferably in some "International" Date Format:
=> 2019-09-14 (YYYY-MM-DD) or (YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm)

With "03-12-2015", I never know if the Pet was from Decb/Xmas or from March...!

Or display both...: 'Adoption Date' + 'Age (in Days)'.
I actually find it quite "interesting" or "educative" maybe to realize that 'St Patrick 2019' was "already" 179 Days ago...! (But if I have to choose, then I prefer the 'Adoption Date'.)

>>>

+ @ELD-Staff/Admin: Still waiting for the Rarity for 2019-06 Pets, from 3 Months ago...?
(Gay-Pride + PapsDay)

>>>

Greetings everybody, and I also hope the Site will soon reopen...!
=> For the Halloween Event, I hope...!! :ugeek:

Honestly... If the site had a better team of coders, we wouldn't have to wait 2 years for it to possibly come back.

Eldemore is a small, family-run site, it does not have a team of coders. At this point in time there is only one coder and said coder also has a full-time job and life outside of Eldemore which, unfortunately, does mean it won't be as fast as a team. While I'm sure having a team would be awesome, it often isn't feasible for most sites after the costs of servers to hire people.

I'm confident the work that Zayin has been doing will be well worth the wait~

Cant wait to see this site up and running again, I really miss all the fun events. I've moved on from sites like Chickensmoothie, but the unique lore here has kept me checking in every once and a while, can't wait to get more of it
