New Site Development Update - January 25, 2021

the site has been down for renovations for almost the same amount of time it was operating. august 2013-december 2017, 4 years 4 months operating, 3 years almost 7 months inoperating. kinda puts things in perspective.

I'm really sad about it cause I love this site, the community, pets and story.
I'm still checking in but without any updates, I'm really getting worried.
My hope for this site coming back is starting to fade.

Maybe someone should try reaching out to the eldemore twitter?

You’re not alone hoping for an update. I’m crossing fingers for a 6 month one. Not too unreasonable, maybe? Either way, looking forward to Eldemore coming back someday! ☺️

Maybe I'm being naive but there was so much work done according to the early updates that it would feel weird and wasteful if they have just abandoned the project all together??

i think basically the game probably isnt making any money since the site is dead so maybe they gave up and just will disappear leaving this game to die. im sorry if this hurts anyone but its the truth, no "update" takes 4 years. considering the creator hasn't been on since may i dont think we'll see this "revamp" they kept talking about. it probably got really overwhelming and they just dont wanna do it.

this place became home so quickly for me. i miss it dearly.

Benathorn & Zay are married, I believe, so I doubt it was a joint project that they abandoned. I know from other sites that Benathorn and Zay have a lot going on behind the scenes, and I'm sure with the added pressure of how 2020 and 2021 have been, Eldemore 2.0 may have been put on the backburner.
With that being said, they've dedicated a lot to this project and I know the GM is active almost daily and I would imagine communicates with Zay & Benathorn.
I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Eldemore 2.0 but have no quarrels waiting if it means what they release will be better than what we expected.
The only thing we can do as players is offer support by sticking around, and hope for the best. This site is still up and functional, so they are obviously still paying for the upkeep and I for one, wouldn't forget about something I pay for monthly or yearly.

i just wish there was an update again, even if it was a "hey, things are moving slower than planned but we're still working on it"
there hasn't been anything in ages, the official twitter is inactive, it feels like there's no way to know if the site is still being developed

i don't want to sound negative/pushy or anything, i know the admins have stuff going on, and real life should always come first
it would just be reassuring to have them check-in every couple of weeks or even months
