Terms of Use

By accessing “Eldemore” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Eldemore”, “https://www.eldemore.com”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms, and you agree that you are at least 13 years of age. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “Eldemore”. We may change these at any time, and we'll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “Eldemore” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Group”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “General Public License” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from www.phpbb.com. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions, the phpBB Group are not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated, or racially insensitive material in these forums, in your profile fields, through posted art, or any other space on “Eldemore” in which you have creative ability. Nor should you post any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “Eldemore” is hosted (that being the United States of America) or International Law. These same rules apply to private messages within “Eldemore”. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Eldemore” has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “Eldemore” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material on this site. While we do our best to moderate these forums, we can not be held responsible for the content that is posted or sent via private message on this site. This includes any copyrighted material. Each user is responsible for the material that they post. If you wish to make a copyright claim, or have such material taken down, please write to support@eldemore.com, or send a private message to one of the administrators.

You agree not to create multiple user accounts to unfairly obtain pets on this site or any other (this is referred to as multiple account cheating, and is a form of cheating). Every user is allowed one account only. You may also not encourage users on other websites to join for the sole purpose of sending you pets (this is referred to as dummy account cheating, and is a form of cheating). You also may not engage in the trading or conversion of Eldemore pets or Baubles for real-world money.

You agree that we shall have access to all information that you enter and store in our databases, including, but not limited to: posts, pet names, private messages, trade messages, and profile fields. This information will only be accessed if we see fit to investigate your account for suspicion of breaking any of these rules or cheating as outlined above.

By breaking any of these rules, or committing any of the forms of cheating outlined above, your account may receive a board warning or be banned permanently, which may or may not include blacklisting your IP address. All pets owned by your account will be taken and redistributed by us as we see fit. Any Baubles that are on your account at that time will also be taken away, and no money will be refunded for them. Whether you have broken any of these rules or not, including any individual forum rules, is entirely at our discretion.

Passwords stored in our database cannot be read or deciphered, and are not visible to any member of Eldemore's staff. Do not give out your password to anyone, as no staff member will ever need to ask you for it. If any user asks for your password, please report them immediately.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains in detail how “Eldemore” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Eldemore”, “https://www.eldemore.com”) and phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Group”, “phpBB Teams”) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”).

Your information is collected via two ways. Firstly, by browsing “Eldemore” will cause the phpBB software to create a number of cookies, which are small text files that are downloaded on to your computer's web browser temporary files. The first two cookies just contain a user identifier (hereinafter “user-id”) and an anonymous session identifier (hereinafter “session-id”), automatically assigned to you by the phpBB software. A third cookie will be created once you have browsed topics within “Eldemore” and is used to store which topics have been read, thereby improving your user experience.

We may also create cookies external to the phpBB software whilst browsing “Eldemore”, though these are outside the scope of this document which is intended to only cover the pages created by the phpBB software. The second way in which we collect your information is by what you submit to us. This can be, and is not limited to: posting as an anonymous user (hereinafter “anonymous posts”), registering on “Eldemore” (hereinafter “your account”), private messages sent to other users while logged in (hereinafter “your private messages”), and posts submitted by you after registration and whilst logged in (hereinafter “your posts”).

Your account will at a bare minimum contain a uniquely identifiable name (hereinafter “your user name”), a personal password used for logging into your account (hereinafter “your password”) and a personal, valid e-mail address (hereinafter “your e-mail”). Your information for your account at “Eldemore” is protected by data-protection laws applicable in the country that hosts us (being the United States of America). Any information beyond your user name, your password, and your e-mail address required by “Eldemore” during the registration process is either mandatory or optional, at the discretion of “Eldemore”. In all cases, you have the option of what information in your account is publicly displayed. Furthermore, within your account, you have the option to opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated e-mails from the phpBB software.

Your password is ciphered (a one-way hash) so that it is secure. However, it is recommended that you do not reuse the same password across a number of different websites. Your password is the means of accessing your account at “Eldemore”, so please guard it carefully and under no circumstance will anyone affiliated with “Eldemore”, phpBB or another 3rd party, legitimately ask you for your password. Should you forget your password for your account, you can use the “I forgot my password” feature provided by the phpBB software. This process will ask you to submit your user name and your e-mail, then the phpBB software will generate a new password to reclaim your account.

If you choose to purchase Baubles, which is Eldemore's on-site currency, information related to your transaction will be stored by us as well. This includes, but is not limited to, your name and email address associated with the PayPal account you used to process the transaction. This DOES NOT include any credit card number, debit card number, bank account number, or other financially sensitive information. We do not currently collect such information. But what information we do collect in this transaction is shared only with PayPal. For more information, please refer to the “Treasury page”.
