I'm being lazy, so I'll keep this as simple as possible.
Good verse evil, only who is the good and who is the evil? The assassins believe themselves the bringers of justice against the prince's tyranny, or are they using justice as a mask to hide their true intentions. Perhaps this so called tyrant prince is fairer and just then most make him to be.
All that is known, is that a prophecy of old foretold of a looming apocalypse, the reawakening of the feared Monolith. Beasts born of the sand will be driven into decay and madness by some ravenous disease, and the ether crystals will slowly fall into decline, a source of life that if taken away would force this haven in the desert back into an medieval age. If the Monolith awakes, the reign of man will cease.
But there is a ray of hope yet, a child born of the Monolith's essences could perhaps hold the key to seal the colossus beast eternally and bring on the era of golden peace. Only problem, the rise of Changelings has increased significantly, to find this savior child will no be easy task, nor do they know what would make this child different from another.
It's a race against time, and both sides are in heated search for this child, more teenager then anything. Who will be the first to find them and which side will use the Changeling's gift properly, for there is a chance that the child could very well awaken the Monolith before its time.
Good verse evil, which side will be the one to bring victorious triumph to mankind, or the one that will bring on their impending destruction.

:: Rules ::
I. All site rules apply; obviously.
II. Everyone has flaws, so no mary/gary sues; also no god-modding or killing other players characters without permission
III. Semi-literate at most; I understand writer's block but I don't want a page full of one-liners. At least two-three sentences.
IV. As many characters as you can handle, but try be somewhat minimal; it can be kind of confusing working for a dozen characters.
--I do advise to be wary of how many of each gender there is, just as long the gender ratio is kept somewhat even.
I'd like to state this here; your characters can't have crushes on each other, but they can be siblings. I'd also like to say, and I mean absolutely no offence and I'm not against it as I've dabbled in it, but for this roleplay- only girlxboy romances. As said, I have nothing against it but I would prefer it this way, least grant me that.
V. I allow cussing, but only to the extent of the site rules; you don't have to use them.
-- Gore and drama is welcomed but not excessively, and of course, romance is welcomed. But don't make the characters love each other on the first page, allow for time. And for those 'particular moments', please fade to black.
VI. With the character sheet given, you are free to 'pretty up' your post as well as add to it.
VII. I would like decent activeness, I understand life and whatnot, if you fear you'll be away- please message me. I cannot guarantee your character not getting left behind if your away. I will give Re-cap when asked, but I'm not at fault at the speed the roleplay may go.
REMEMBER: if you do not post for two weeks without warning me, your character WILL be removed.
VIII. And lastly, have fun and respect other players; arguments don't belong here and won't be tolerate.

No Man's Land is unholy ground with black sand, it surrounds the glade of towering, withered trees where the Monolith lays dominant
Underground Canyon is where ether crystals are mined; Talla Mountains is where the Wyvern nests are located
It may be a vast desert, but the weather can vary drastically-- nights are always chilly and dangerous as the beasts of the desert tend to come and possibly prey on those in the Outer-ring District if they aren't hiding well
