It's a lovely life you're living in this world. For most of you anyways. I don't follow you home... Maybe... But anyhow. As a child you wished you could be an animal or talking animals were real, right? Of course you did! It sounded so cool! Then your idol must be the anonymous scientist who genetically engineered animals and humans together. They have no specific name, but Japan calls them 'Kemonomimis', so that became the worldwide name for them. Regular humans were disturbed with their nature. Kemonomimis tend to act more animal than human, but are normally trained to act more presenting to the public. But that was many years ago.
This is now.

Kemonomimis are normal to see with a human. Some Kemonomimis even have a certain necklace indicating they can attend school, work or go shopping on their own without their owner's supervision. Some Kemonomimis are out in the wild due to their behavior and some are strays.
Looking for your own Kemonomimi as a pet or someone to keep around the house? There's a place for that too. The world adjusted and changed greatly because of these creatures that were discovered a mere forty years ago.

Rules;

All Eldemore rules apply!

1. There is a limit to strays

2. Have variety in the species please!

3. Fade when needed

4. Limit the drama, yo

5. Keep human and Kemonomimis equal along with sexualities and genders

6. Only as many characters as you can handle!! *Spirits of the Animal Realm flashback*

7. Mythical creatures do not exist in this (except Kemonomimis)

8. You don't get a say in who your owner is. If another user says your character is their characters Kemonomimi then yeah. It's happening. Unless your Kemonomimi is a stray.


Rules within the roleplay (breakable, but fines and jail time can be given);
1. Keep all Kemonomimis under control!

2. Kemonomimis must have the obedience necklace to be alone in public, attend school/work and/or run errands!

3. All strays are to be taken to the local Kemonomimi organization

4. If Kemonomimis are accused of theft, murder, etc. (Any crime) they will not be taken to jail, but will be sent to an obedience school or if in serious cases can be put down. Just like an animal. (So they are treated like humans and/or animals)

5. You must have a certain license to have an exotic breed of Kemonomimis (bear, fox, wolf, etc)

This building is somewhat similar to a vet and orphanage crossover. There are human doctors and supervisors. This is where people come to adopt or drop off Kemonomimis

-Kemonomimi obedience-
This is an optional place to be. If you have plans for your Kemonomimi to go to school/work, do errands, etc then you must have them enrolled in this. Once they graduate they will receive a necklace they must wear in said places at all times.

Personality; Caylee is a quiet and friendly person. When I say quiet, I mean she won't talk much about herself when speaking to you. You see... Her history isn't the best, but never mind that! She is supportive and sweet. Always putting others before herself and making sure you are the one that is okay. Caylee is normally stressed out all the time, but never talks about it, nor does she show it. Signs of her being stressed are: messing with her fingers or whatever is in her hands, mumbling, shuddering, increase in breathing pace, frowning and slouching/trying to make herself look smaller (also a sign of fear).
History; Her past owner was an abusive man. She was isolated her entire life (well.. What she can remember of her life). Caylee has never had a friend bedsides her fennec fox named Dakari because of this man, but she can speak fluent. She just has problems with socializing. She has been a stray for roughly a month now and has managed to escape/avoid people taking her to the Kemonomimi organization.

Twenty-two, despite his youthful appearance.

Deer kemonomimi.
Appearance;
Sindri is short and tiny, standing only 4'10" without counting his antlers. His stature leaves him lacking in the department of physical strength, but certainly doesn't hinder his speed nor stealth.
Aside from his antlers and thin build, Sindri looks the part of a human. Well, mostly. His mismatched eyes, his left dark brown and his right icy blue, tend to stand out more than he'd like, and his hair, light as paper, doesn't aid him in blending in either. He keeps his curly locks pulled back in a ponytail for convenience, and strongly dislikes for anyone to touch it (or him).
Sindri is seldom seen without his blue bandana around his neck, often with a plain, collared shirt and suspenders. He isn't so particular about the style of his pants, so long as they keep him warm and covered.

On the inside
Personality;
Sindri is an introverted and fearful individual. He's learned several times over that it's best to lay low, but that hasn't always stuck well enough to keep him from making an outburst. He feels very trapped, not seeing any reason for the separation of kemonomimis from humans. He is very unlikely to form any connections with others. His seemingly futile attempts to regain his own freedom are his greatest importance.
History;
For a time, Sindri tried to be content with the hand he was dealt. As a child he was very distant from his "owners", but never outright rebellious. It grated at him to be talked down to and treated as inherently inferior, with never a chance to redeem himself. Anything he could achieve was merely a "trick", something to applaud his owners for. Where was his individuality? It seemed as though he had none.
Near fourteen years old, a thought occurred to him: He could try to run. He made his escape under darkness, careful to avoid being seen.
For nearly ten years he's lived on the streets, feigning naive innocence whenever caught so as to catch his captors off guard with his next escape.
