Where did you come from?:Pacific Ocean; She's a wanderer, so she's been to most of the oceans.
Tail description: Her tail is like a lionfish's; specifically like a Pterois Radiata, amd surprisingly enough, she has the poisonous stings too.
Orientation: Asexual
Personality:She's really bipolar; she's usually described as lazy and easygoing.
Likes: Sweets, music, swimming, and games.
Dislikes:Loud noises, crowds, strong smells, and extremely vivid colors.
History: She's been hovering around the Californian coast for a while, mainly because she was born in that general area. She was raised in the deeper parts of the Pacific ocean, with the elderly and sickly. She used to be a normal depth strider, but her views of the world changed when other depth striders came and slaughtered her friends, adoptive family, the sickly, and even the elderly.
Kin/Family:None that she knows of.
Crush/Relationship:Nonexistent at the moment, but may form.

-She despises other merfolk company.
-She can be found mainly in a human settlement, the beach, or somewhere near a large body of water.
-She's known as Arune among the water dwellers.
-A few scars litter her backside, which came from stab wounds and a few slashes.

Where did you come from?: Red Sea
Tail description: (Species; Snowflake Moray) Very long, easily twice his body length. It is primarily white, and decorated with 'snowflake'-like black spots. A single, continuous fin travels along its length, on the spinal side. The fin is tattered in places where a fishing net tore them when he was very young.
Orientation: Bisexual
Personality: Nerrus is very particular, and hates to have his method disturbed- a problematic thing indeed, considering he lives in something that is constantly in motion. Because of this, he actually lives very close to the surface, in a hidden cave, where he hides his belongings and goes for alone time. He is more shy than anything else, and would sooner hide and escape than fight over anything. He can tend to act out on his own even when he obviously needs help, and hates the idea of relying on anyone. He prefers to be a 'wallflower', and is easily agitated by anyone who might try to catch him in conversation.
Likes: Solitude, quiet, reefs, animals
Dislikes: Crowds, talking, the abyssal parts of the ocean, being noticed, humans
History: Nerrus was once caught by humans, along with his parents; he escaped, but never found his parents again, and mostly raised himself. He did not see much of his kind for a long time, and grew to distrust and fear humans. He has never felt as though he belongs anywhere, and this has led him to become the recluse that he is. While he hates and fears humans, his fear is stronger, and his biggest dread is that some human will either see him or find his beachside cave.

*Is fond of animals, even human pets such as dogs, and tends to take the collars off of wandering dogs when nobody is looking; he apparently thinks this sets them free
*Excluding the length of his tail, he is relatively slender and small, and easily fits in most places
*He likes to collect shells and whatever jewelry humans might leave behind on beaches
*He is afraid of absolute dark, which is why he won't swim below a certain depth.

Tail description: (Species; Thresher Shark) Tail is light grey with a white underside, and sports the typical shark shape aside from the very end of it. One upper fin near the front, two small low-placed ones near the end, and then a characteristic long final fin that can be used like a whip to stun and disorient prey or enemies.
Orientation: ? Unknown ?(Probably Hetero, but who knows)
Personality: Liara is somewhat cruel, and loves to use others for her own amusement. She feels little empathy or compassion, and prefers to suit herself and her own wicked desires, without regard for how it might affect others. She finds pain funny, and loves to see what others do when they are in pain- a favorite game of hers is to stun something or someone and let them sink while they recover. She can do this endlessly until she grows bored of the victim, and decides to either eat them or leave them sore and confused. She is notoriously selfish, and wouldn't share a thing with anyone, even if they needed it far more than her.
Likes: Pain(of others), knives, sharks, the color red
Dislikes: The Self-righteous, "be nice" lectures/lessons, basically anything that isn't a shark
History: Liara was raised by her mother and her pet/companion great white, Barracuda, and learned everything she knows from them. Liara's mother was a wicked woman who had a passion for enticing sailors with her upper half and feeding them to Barracuda, and Liara thought this was endlessly amusing. Eventually, however, her mother was caught, and taken to some human facility.

*Barracuda was named this because of his long teeth, and Liara tends to get frustrated when people point out that they named a fish after another fish.
*Highly dependent upon saltwater, and cannot live in freshwater or enter it for very long.
*Doesn't particularly hate humans, and mostly just ignores them
*Thinks messing with other merfolk is tons of fun
