BrownTail poked his nose out of the medicine den. It was leaffall now, and the leaves were beginning to change color. He opened his jaws and yawned.

Whitepaw slept in the apprentice den , tail covering his nose. His white ans Brown pelt rose and fell with each breath the cat took.
