The familiar flapping of a dragon's wings sounded over Pad's head. He growled, licking his lips. Should I run, or should I stay? If I run, the dragon will surely catch me and I won't have much energy to fight... Making up his mind, Pad took a defensive stance.

Quicksand

Quicksand realized his mistake too late. His prey was not deer, as he first thought, but a feline. They made for more prickly food, with a tendency to fight back, but he was sure he could take one in a fight. He readied to land on the feline, extending his talons and opening his wings.

(I should mention that Quicksand can speak two languages. His native language is a dialect that not many speak. So if you see something written in a foreign language that's what it is.)

After a few long hours of walking and much complaining (from Terin), the duo reached a clearing. "Looks, another creature!" Terin shouted. "Terin! Keep your voice down. It might be hostile!" Nabooru tried to stop the gecko from bounding towards the wolf.

The brute was walking around observing his surroundings. He was mostly just curious about everything untill he heard a voice from the distance and looked around. "Hey who's out there? Show yourself!" Ranger yelled out to whoever shouted.

Nabooru shook her head. Why does he always- Her thoughts were cut off by the yelling of the wolf. "Terin!" Nabooru called, leaping after the gecko.

Hearing the voice the wolf tracked down where it came from and dashed in that direction. Senses not failing him Ranger spotted a dragon and gave a bark to get its attention.
