Starnight stood up, ears fixed on the pack of dogs, the leader seems to be interested in something else. Something much more "tastier" than him. Night stood up, unafraid now as the pack have moved deeper into the forest. A sharp scream broke in the night sky. The stallion looked up, oh no, the pack has caught some other animal. Night wanted to gallop away to safety but the scream sounded more like a frightened mare to Night. As the stallion moved up a hill to get a better look, he knew that he risked the pack going back to him but he had to save that mare from those half wolves.

It began to rain. First, as a soft drizzle, then it came harder. Thaylia managed to get some mud plastered on her coat, while she was limping away, hiding her scent for good, from that wolf. Sighing in pain, tiredness, and frustration, she ignored the stinging pain in her leg, and kept walking. Several minutes later, The rain stopped, but she didn't and accidentally knocked right into another stallion. Forcing back a sharp remark, She stumbled a little bit, but didn't say anything, slightly nervous.

"Mmm" Night cried bumping into the oncoming mare. "Sorry, i didn't see you there" The stallion stood up stright, stretching his sore neck. "Watch out," Night nickered rearing up. Out in the open of the forest grounds, a small wolf stood there watching him and the mare, its large emerald eyes stared at him. Suddenly the wolf lifted his head and howled. Run! Night said, pushing the mare.

Not waiting to argue, She bolted, but with her leg, was slightly slower than the stallion, even with her good running skills, and she was already tired, but determined, Thalia pushed on, not saying anything.

Starnight kept galloping, he noticed that the mare was having trouble running. Night slowed down, matching the mare's pace, he kept galloping with her while listening to the running pads of the pack behind. They are catching up, Night thought, At this speed, we will never out run them. He tilted his head sideways to get a better look, the wolf pack is made out of four wolves, two alpha and two silbilings. He can beat the two younger wolves easily but he had no luck with the grown ups who is leading. "Do you know a river?" He looked back towards the mare, "I don't think those wolves are keen to swim."

Thaylia galloped faster, ignoring the pain, as her chipped hooves scraped against rock Not wanting to be left behind, nor slow the stallion down, she just shook her head. "S - sorry...I just got here!"

"Ok, don't worry then" Starnight grumbled, feeling the wolves drawing closer. Wolf are known for their stamina not for their speed, but with the mare's injured leg we can't get far without getting caught. The stallion lifted his heavy head, infront of him was a mass of bushes. In the distance a rubble startled him, it sounded like a flood but not quite, its more...more like a waterfall! "Hey," he nickered to the mare, "Can you hear that?"

Thaylia slowed, but only for a short period of time, to listen carefully. She ndded, but fear was still evident in the way she moved. "We better hurry..."

Starnight kept galloping, towards the flowing sound of the waterfall. This time he went to the mare and galloped behind her. Each time the mare slowed, he pushed her gently,helping the mare to move forward.

She shook the thought away, and quickly raced after Night, putting as little weight on her hoof as possible, as the Waterfall came into view. Even in the rain, it was very misty, and loud, water billowing up into the air, then vanishing into thin sight.
