The Prides have lived in woods, meadows, in mountains, and in caves, always surviving, always fending for themselves. Everyone has a place in the Pride, everyone works as is their due to get their daily meal. Everyone tries to follow the Pride rules, for they know that if they do not, they will be forced out of the Pride.
But now, something more important than Pride rules is brewing. A fiery heat is scorching the territories, sending prey into their nests and drying up most of the water. It is hard for any animal to survive such weather. How can the four Prides survive? What has caused this terrible drought? Perhaps you can help them.

Ranks
The Pride Hierarchy is as follows:
Alpha Male/Female Alpha Males are the strongest leaders, usually solely leading the Pride. The alpha male can have more then one mate but his main mate is the alpha female. The Alpha Female is used more often for helping pregnant lionesses and the young. Occasionally the Alpha Female may hold more power than the Alpha Male in the Pride, but it is very rare and unlikely. The Alpha Males eat first, then allow the others to eat.
Alpha Male's Mates The Alpha Males mates are other females/lionesses besides the Alpha female. The alpha male may choose who he wants to be the alpha female, and he may also be the mate of any female in the pride. That does not include the Alpha Female having any mate in the pride. Only Alpha male can mate with the females, besides the Beta Male, which he can have 1-2 mates. If any male mates with a female and they are not allowed to, they will be killed or forced out of the pride.
Beta Male/Female Beta Males are chosen by the Alphas. The Beta Male may appoint his own Beta Female, but if he does not choose a lioness within one week of his new title, a lioness will be appointed for him. As with the Alphas, the Beta Male is more powerful than the Beta Female.
Lionesses Lionesses are kept to caring for the cubs and hunt and fight. They may also be the mate of the Alpha and not be the Alpha female
The Omitted Two/three male lions are kept in the Pride as long as they stay loyal to the Alphas at all times. If they show any resistance or inclination to take over, they will immediately be chased from the Pride. The Omitted group is kept small so that it cannot rise to a number greater than what the Alphas could handle.
Young Young cubs under the age of one year are kept in the Pride until they turn one year. Then (if they are males) they are either Omitted or they are chased out of the Pride to either start their own Pride, be a loner, or join another Pride as an Omitted. Females stay in the pride or leave if they choose.
Body Language
When a lion is showing affection, it will often lick/nuzzle/rub/nip the other lion around its muzzle/ears/flank/shoulder to show he/she has feelings for the other lion. When a lion wants to mate, the male will stand and the female will wined around him and then lay in front of him and etc. When a lion is showing aggression or dominance, the lion will raise its tail and head and let out a dominating roar, showing its teeth. If the weight shifts towards the lion's hindquarters, it may be about to leap. If a lion is showing fear or submission, it will bow its head, lower its tail, and lower itself to the ground. It may or may not roll onto its back.
Enemies
The enemies of the Prides are numerous and are to be all treated with caution.
Foxes Foxes are red-furred creatures, not unlike dogs, that are irritating but easily dealt with. Low damage.
Wildcats Wildcats are rogue cats wandering the woods, (Often Tigers, Cheetahs, and Leopards) crafty and clever, but will run at the sight of a group of lions. Low damage.
Wolves and Coyotes These animals travel in large groups and coordinate their attacks. Coyotes will often back away from a lion fight, but wolves are head-strong and will attack even if outnumbered. Minimum damage.
Dogs Rogue dogs or dogs from Packs are dangerous, sometimes very large in size, and always feisty. But the sheer weight of lions can usually send them running. Extreme damage when in large groups, minimum damage when not.
Bears Bears are extremely dangerous. They are bad-tempered, powerful, and enormous. To be avoided at all costs. Extreme damage.
Meetings
The four Prides gather every month to discuss Pride matters. Only one Alpha (almost always the Alpha Male), one Beta (almost always the Alpha Male), and two lionesses are allowed to the meeting, so that the Prides can be sure no attack is planned.
Beliefs
The Prides have a god named Dunamis, meaning power, strength, or agility. He is supposedly a black lion with a black mane. In old paintings he is surrounded by white lionesses that glitter like the stars. He wields a dark power, and it is believed by the Prides that Dunamis sent this drought upon them for some reason.
Moon Roars
Every full moon, the lions gather in their camp and let out a long roar up to Dunamis. Lion roars carry more words than you may think. This is the way of the Prides to thank Dunamis for creating them.

She grew up in a rather large pride with her other, several other lionesses, and their king. When
she became older, she separated from the pride to find a bachelor. She wanted to begin a pride with
a male. Eventually, she came across the perfect male, and they began their pride. In her first litter,
she had four cubs. They were perfect and healthy small cubs. Though, they never reached adulthood
because poachers killed the lion she was with, and the cubs were taken in the night by hyenas. She
was devastated by her lost, but she moved on with a broken heart. To this day, she is searching for
another male in hopes to begin a new pride.

Nulu was an average lion that grew up in a large pride of 18. He was the only cub of the Alpha female,and she loved him dearly. His father, otherwise, was bewildered by his unusual height and length. He thought that he was a gift from his father whom had passed away many years ago, so he named him "Nulu" after his father. Nulu grew to be one of the best fighters of the pride, in a coalition of 4, his pride was outmatched. One stormy day in September, lightning flashed above the sleeping cats whom laid under a large tree. LIghtning struck the tree, causing it to crash down upon the cats, killing many besides Nulu and his sister Poppy. Poppy was injured, burns laid across her once-beautiful golden pelt, but she managed to survive, with the scars to prove it. Nulu, whom was never scarred by the fire, stayed with his sister, as she was the only family he had left. They soon began a pride called the "Spring Pride", but soon after, Poppy died of an unknown disease. Nulu now stand alone in the Spring Pride, awaiting the day he will have cubs, and have a chance to remember his sister's name, "Poppy".

I had so much trouble with the Height and Weight, I simply guessed. I knew very little about lions, but after watching a video about them, I know enough now to get through here. ^^;; I've never done a Lion RP before, please be warned.

By the way, one of your lionesses is under "Beta male" when it's supposed to be "Alpha female"

For some reason, my school barely gives me any home work, so if you see me on around my school time, {{ 8:30 - 2:55 }} that is simply because most of the time, it's either study hall, or the teacher is out of class lol.
