[Sphye]

Sphye continued to row, careful not to hit anyone in the head as she switched the oar from one side to the other. The raft was going at a decent rate, hopefully enough so that they could reach the island in under two hours. It was hard to tell for sure, with the difference if speed in the water as opposed to if the girls had been walking, but the small mass of land was fairly large on the horizon, so perhaps it wouldn't take them too long.

Deciding to try to break the ice a bit, Sphye spoke up. "So, um, do any of you have a favorite animal?" Trivial questions like this were such fun to ask, but the dark-haired girl was slightly tentative to ask because she knew from experience that some people found it annoying to answer the amount of useless questions she could spew if she was on a roll.

Skie continued to row slowly. The girl tried to keep up with Shpye but was mostly unsuccessful. She just hoped that she was helping, even a little. She listened to the ores speak, unsure of what to say or do, and so she just kept silent. She spoke after Shpye asked her question. "We'll, I guess I don't really have a favorite, I really like cats and horses though." She continued to row absentmindedly. Someone would find them, right? The entire world had been mapped, this wasn't some horror novel, they would be rescued it only seemed logical. She sighed and shook her head, she could feel the tears on the he corner other eyes, she was scared. Skie glanced around and let out another breath, she could only hope now, only hope.

[Somnus]

Somnus swam towards the raft. This is why he hated travel. He was still surprised that he of all people served. He swam as fast as he could, but was not the fastest swimmer. "Hay, wait up!" Somnus swam harder. if he didn't get help he would drown. "Help! Wait up!"

[SkieNight]

Skie stopped rowing and looked to Shpye. "Um hey... you might want to stop..." It was then that she realized she didn't know these people, at all. She swallowed hard trying to push away that nagging voice telling her that she needed to go curl up in a corner and shut up. "I- I think we have another person who wants to j-" join? no join was the wrong word, they weren't joining by choice they were joining them to survive. What ever. She looked behind them at the boy who was swimming towards them. "Um..." Skie really didn't want to jump in and get wet, as cruel as that sounded. "Just um... calm down and push forward. If you freak out in the water your chance of drowning in creases." she mentally kicked herself for saying that, but hoped that it would help the boy swim must a little more to reach the raft.

CJ stops, looking back and seeing Somnus. "Here!" She takes off her life vest and throws it to Somnus, treading water on her back, simply floating, waiting for Somnus to catch up.

[Sphye]

Looking back, Sphye saw a familiar face swimming through the water.
"Somnus?!" she exclaimed,ceasing her rowing. "What are you doing here? I thought you had taken a different raft!"
She considered diving into the water to help her brother get to the raft quicker, but refrained. Without having a swimsuit, it would be best to keep her clothes dry.

[Distortionist]

Distortionist glanced back at Skie's muted words, mildly astonished at the girl's timidness. They were a team now, whether they liked it or not, and she wished the other girl would be more open with her input. Her eyes caught sight of the boy behind the raft and she immediately began backpedaling. Sphye appeared to know him. Dis definitely wasn't going to just let him drown, but this raft was barely holding up the people on it right now...

[Somnus]

Somnus swam to the raft and climbed in. "Thanks." As he looked at the people in the raft he sow Sphye. "I sort of didn't get to any raft in time." He looked back at the bout. "My luck, the one time I go to sea I get shipwrecked." Somnus looked at the island. "Is that where were going?"

"That's the plan!" CJ says, getting back into position and pushing the raft, albeit slower than before, with the addition of another person.
