hair and deep blue eyes. He is tall, well built, and loves to participate
in any kind of sport as he is very athletic. He keeps to himself a lot
but is very outgoing when he is around his friends. He is very easy
going and doesn't get angry very often and when he does it's usually
for a few minutes before he calmly apologizes and moves on.

I kinda want to start off as someone who doesnt know they have magic powers ^^ you can start off as whoever you want to be ^^

Where do you want the setting in a small town, big city, regular city etc.)

((Uhh, I could start off not knowing of my powers either. What kind of powers are we talking about though? Just anything you want right?

For the setting, I want it to be a dark city like Gotham City in Batman. Is that alright?))

My character I was thinking will use a book of spells and maybe have like some cool charm or something that help control her power. Later of course ^^

Lailic groaned and rolled over, glaring at the cause of the beeping. She tapped the off button on the alarm and rubbed her eyes. Sitting up she looked around the dark room. She was finally living on her own. And it wasn't as glamorous as she thought. No sweet smell of pancakes wafting through the air or silky coffee. She sighed and slipped out of bed.

Walking out of her bedroom and down the hall she entered the kitchen and looked around for something to eat. She didn't have much yet. Just a few things. She was grateful for cereal and orange juice. Simple to make and didn't make much of a mess. Besides it was the only breakfast food she had.

Travis woke up to find himself sitting in a puddle in a quiet, darker alley deep inside the city where he resided in. Not understanding why he was there and shivering from the cold, spring rain, he quickly stood up and shook off all remaining thoughts of sleep. His thin jacket and denim jeans were completely soaked and he stared at them with disgust.

Trying his best to remember what had happened the previous night, he casually walked back to his small apartment. Thankfully, he knew his way around town so well that he showed up at the doorstep and quietly walked in before anyone took notice. His parents were still asleep and he sighed in relief. He hastily made his way up the flight of stairs to his bedroom and changed out of his wet clothes. Explaining why they were drenched to his mother was going to be a nightmare.

Lailic quickly ate the cereal then proceeded to get dressed in jeans and a tee shirt. Brushing her hair out slighting and falling into a somewhat normal morning routine. Forty-five minutes later she was heading out of the apartment and to a work interview. She loved the old book store. It was filling with all sorts of interesting things. She had applied for a job there and was hoping she'd get it. The owner was in her later years. And needed help.

She grinned as she saw the sign the dangled above the store. Pushing open the door there was a familiar jingle. She inhaled deeply taking in the musky scent of the store. She headed towards the back in search of the shop owner. "Hello? Ms. Hillery? Hello?" She called softly. Not wanted to scare the older woman.
