A life lived:
Isaac's life has been very up and down with a goodly amount of it being down rather than up. Right from the beginning his parents had wanted and been expecting to get a girl and for the first four years of life he thought Izzy was his name and had been made to wear remind clothing in public enough that some if the neighbours still think he was born a she. Praising his parents for bravely supporting him in transitioning.
If those neighbours had only known the truth of it all they woukd have no praise for his family. His younger sisters are all rough with him as are his parents though Isaac has not once bothered to fight back. Knowing he can only loose to the older male and winning would make him in charge of the family. Which also has no appeal to him. What Isaac needs is a way out and a new pride that can accept him exactly how he is.
How he is has become more complex as of a few months ago. What was reported as a accident, a nasty fall on a steep hiking trail near the ocean, left Isaac with broken bones and one emergency surgery. There had been what was considered a severe concussion but there had been little follow up compared to the other injuries.
Most found it understandable that he was more tired, that his balance were little off, more irritable and well he had been depressed before anyway so that wasn't new. But the light sensitivity and the frequent headaches and that Isaac had started to talk in his sleep regularly with no history of doing it before. Well that did catch some attention but not enough yet. It just might take a seizure to get things figured out. Meantime Isaac is just getting more and more frustrated with it all. The only peace he feels he can get us when he manages to slip away with his friend? Kiaju. Though Isaac woukd like it better if they could be more than just friends.
