The Princess of the Cephri Tribe

Ｋｎｏｗｉｎｇ ｔｈｅ Ｂａｓｉｃｓ

Full Name}} Her full title is the Crown Princess Acadia Anastaysia Alicia Morana Amaranthine Kebi Saufre Nabir Nhetanyu of the House of Cephri, but those close to her call her Amaranthine Nhetanyu. They are few and far in between, unfortunately. Meaning 'finding happiness in the simplicity of the rebirth of the sweet deadly honey flower that smells of sulphur that the noble god has given to us.' In short, her name is homage to the honey flower, a native of the desert sands; though the flower reeks of rotting flesh - it is what brought life to the desert. The first of the Cephri's learned how to harness the properties that lay within, bringing water from its' roots and sustenance from it's fleshy leaves - later to discover the medicine contained in the rare flowering buds. Yes, you can say the Siyha plant brought life to the desert. Or perhaps the desert brought life to the Siyha.
Nickname}} Mara, Mar-mar, or Princess.
Gender}} Amaranthine is a princess, after all. Female through and through.
Age}} Amaranthine is 14 years old, but already she has been through things that would bring older women to their knees.
Job}} Amaranthine is a Princess and will eventually be a ruler, but right now she is on her pilgrimage. In three years she must return to her tribe with something of value or importance to give to them - or be cast out of the tribe. That is her purpose.
Desired Job}} A Princess does not desire things, her mother would say. A Princess has everything she wants. But Amaranthine would like to be loved, if only for a little while, her bed is cold and her heart colder and the life waiting for her back at home colder still.
Physical Features}} Amaranthine's face is all hard angles and straight lines; deeply-set, widely-spaced golden eyes, rail-straight nose pierced through with a gold-and-ruby stud, full lips offset by a razor jaw and impossibly high cheekbones. Exotic is the word most use to describe the lovely Princess of the Desert, though many have never met such a fabled beauty. Her hair is coarse, straight, and jet-black, short and pushed backwards towards her neck and behind the tips of her triple-pierced ears. She wears an orange headcover, with the ends trailing down to secure at her waist; protecting her breasts from the harsh desert sun. Coffee skin shields her from the worst of the desert, though the sands of Eldemore try they cannot get through her pair of well-worn moccasins and hide pants. She carries twin waraxes on her back, aptly named Khalid and Faisa - two great and terrible warring tribes that have long since been swallowed by the desert. For more severe weather she has on her possession a great cloak, made of the skin of a single great desert drake, the dragon's leathery hide affording protection from both the intense daytime heat and the frost of the nighttime cold.

Desired Job}} Enzo doesn't really know what he wants to do, but that's alright.
Physical Features}} Enzo is angular, with high cheekbones and a narrow face. His eyes are dark and deep-set, with straight brown hair that flops into his eyes and curls around his brazen cheeks and jaw. He is always well-kept, with sturdy clothes and a clean-shaven face. Tall, too, at around 6'3. His frame is lean but muscular, a bit on the stronger side of lean. Rippling muscles hide underneath his clothing.

Personality}} On the outside Enzo comes across as a charming lad. He's brazen, and funny, and smooth with the ladies; but one wrong move and he can turn icy cool. Especially if you threaten Amaranthine in any way - don't touch his girl, alright? She's the only one who really knows anything more than the front he puts up, it's funny that a girl from the desert can disarm him so completely. Yes, it is she who knows the softness of his heart, the way it has been bruised and beaten over the years; she who knows that rebelliousness is sometimes only a call for help, and even though he is strong no-one ever bothers to ask if he is alright. She does. Perhaps Enzo is not as knowing as he thought.

Meet the Vale Daughter, otherwise known as Thesilea Vale.

Full Name}} The Vale Daughter, Thesilea Vale. A member of a far-reaching Mystic caravan, Thesilea has become renowned in her circles and many come far and wide for her to read their fortunes.
Nickname}} Thes, or just "Vale Daughter"
Gender}} Thesilea chooses to appear female.
Age}} Ageless, some say, but time has a price and even Thesilea, with all her gifts, has to pay hers. She has been given a total of 477 years on this earth, but she has just recently entered adulthood. She appears to be in her late twenties.
Job}} No, not a job, but a calling. The "Vale Daughter" has a mission and it is she who must look into the future in order to tell of the past. A fortune teller, in other words - for now.
Desired Job}} She desires for nothing.
Physical Features}} Though she can change her shape at will, in order to appear 'normal' (at least by Mystic standards) she is of a normal height, standing a little over 5'7. Her hair is long and loose, falling in rich gold to her waist. Heavy and thick, and the color of summer sunlight, her hair is her pride and joy. A toned body, but not muscular, and not used to any sort of fighting at all, though she can hunt a little - but not with aptitude. Magic is her strong point, and everything from her clothes to her jewelry was chosen to channel it. Her staff is made of the wood of giant elms, found near Alabaster City. Bones and trinkets adorn the polished wood, adding to it's element conductivity. Her clothes are soft and made from natural things. A soft cloth shirt, made of the skin of elmheart elkrin and lined with otterling fur; tight-fitting black leather pants from a domesticated horse; soft knee-length boots wrapped with lambskin; and a cape of dyed red leather. Her eyes blaze gold and shimmery red when she reaches into the future, but are normally the grey-blue color of a river stone. Thesilea's eyebrows are a shade or two darker than her hair, as are her eyelashes. Her skin is tan from living in the outdoors and traveling, her lips plump and shell-pink in color. Her skin is often decorated with paints in complex, colorful, and symmetrical patterns.

History}} Born to an ancient and a human, Thesilea was destined for great things. By fate or chance, whichever you so choose, she was abandoned for some reason or another and the Mystics took her in. She grew up thinking she was one of them, and though a few had reservations about an 'outsider' she proved to be just as mystic as the rest of them. The children her age adored the girl with the strange smile and the wise, old eyes that peered out from a young face. It was hard not to notice her surprising affinity for magic, she showed it early in the form of frost on the swimming pond - in summer. She was trained by the collective caravan like all Mystic children, and when she grew older she was betrothed and married. A son, borne late in fall; a harsh winter - and all of her happiness seemed to evaporate like the smoke she called forth for the evening fire. The young and powerful Mystic withdrew into herself, and though her husband tried he was unable to bring her back from the brink he could not rescue her from her own mind; eventually he remarried and she was the one to remove the noose from around her own neck.
