Hello everyone!

I’m Matisse and this is my art thread. I’ve worked hard and now it’s finally open and ready to take requests!

The little rascal above is Falaereon! She's a species of cat that can live in water, and their fur is water-repellent. Her personality is based off of my real cat, Lucky.

A little bit about myself:

I live in Idaho. All us over on this side of the states talk like cow wranglers.
I’m 14 and in 10th grade
I was named after a French artist named Henri Matisse (my dad is a humanities/art history professor, what did I expect?)
I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters with a total of 8 people in my family
I’ve lived in the same town my whole life
I have a crested gecko (Scorch), and 2 cats; Lucky and Merlin. Lucky is almost 14 (75 in cat years) and Merlin is 4 (33). Fun fact about Lucky, two weeks after we got him, he came home from a cat fight with his eye hanging out. *blehck* He did have to get stitches, but despite that, having a bell collar, and being a couple months old, he still was able to catch birds. Just to add, Merlin is probably the dumbest cat on this planet. He sits on top of our Suburban and will stay there unless we take him off, even if we start driving!
In the town that I live in, it snows about 6-7 feet on average every winter
Our winters last 6 months. Our summers last 4 months. The other 2 are the rainy season, or what other people would call “spring”.

First, to celebrate the opening, the first 3 commissions will be completely free!

Rules:

I don’t have very many, just the basics and a couple others.

~All of Jendalie’s rules apply
~I take 5 requests at a time
~I don’t do cussing - including someone asking me to put it into my artwork
~Respect me and others and we’ll get along ^-^
~People tend to have certain biases against my religion - LDS or Mormon as some call it, and I will not tolerate any disrespect against anyone’s religion or beliefs. (If you do have questions about my religion, send me a PM and I’ll be happy to chat!)
~Don’t rush me please!
~Visual references are nice - without them I may not get everything to your liking

Pricing

I do two types of art, I can do both in traditional and digital
Lineart
Full color + extra for shading

Also:
Backgrounds (full and partial)


Alright, so my prices are listed below. If anyone has a suggestion, PM me and we can work something out!

My system is a bit different, but I find it a lot more convenient for everyone and myself.
So basically, in my shop drachmas are currency. To obtain drachmas, refer below.

1 Common = 5 Drachmas
1 Uncommon = 15 Drachmas
1 Rare = 35 Drachmas
1 Ultra Rare = 70 Drachmas
1 Legendary = 100 Drachmas

10 Baubles = 50 Drachmas
50 Baubles = 100 Drachmas
100 Baubles = 225 Drachmas
150 Baubles = 350 Drachmas
200 Baubles = 500 Drachmas

I keep track of every user’s drachma’s in an excel file and won’t lose any numbers, I’ll also know if you try to use more than you have

You can use these to pay for art~

Prices

*Alone, these are all lineart*
Headshot (human or animal) = 20 D
Full body (***) = 40 D
Other = 10-40 D depending on the difficulty


Extra - These add on to the original price
Monochrome (blacks and whites) = 10 D
Monochrome with shading = 20 D
Full color = 30 D
Full color with shading = 50 D

Background (partial) = 5 D
Background (full) = 15 D
Background (elaborate) = 25 D

Anything else that you might want, add that in the “Other” section of your order and we can work it out!
