For The Birds {An Eldemore Event Fanfiction}

IT IS DONE FRIENDS

Basically the pretext of this chapter was "Sorren needs to be happy again" then morphed into "Is there a way to get Sorren to race Griffins with us without horribly breaking his character" and then when that turned out to be no it became "I'm gonna do it anyway"

Basically I think Griffins are awesome because flying

Also we all know we wanted a turn on Buckbeak come on

And because I've been so mean to our character I thought it prudent to give us some happy times are we are at our happiest with our pets so

Yeah basically even if we still don't understand everything of what's going on with Oblivion, we have faith we can make it. We'll figure it out- we've dealt with Azara, haven't we?

Also, as I'm sure Sphye has relayed, every single time I get a comment I like melt into this pile of mush and happiness and yeah basically I'm super thrilled you guys like it so much~

I've never made it this far in my event writing ever so it seems that I'll be finishing a thing for once!!!! Miracles do happen!

Also- Ayyyyyyyyyyyy 15700 words! I might actually try to hit 20000, since it's fairly close, and it'd be cool to have such a long fanfiction in the Eldemore Archive.

Eep, those last chapters were amazing, Cj! As I was reading, I kept saying to myself, "Oh, I should quote that and say how awesome it is!" And now there's just too much to quote. Actually... I think I might very well have ended up quoting the entirety of what I've just read. XD Your descriptions of riding the griffin left me breathless, and the interactions with Sorren and the otterlings and many other things left me laughing and smiling so much that it was probably really creepy to anyone watching. I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next few days! And in store for Sorren... poor birdman! XD

Awwwwww! ^^ This chapter was the best! It's so sweet and awesome, and I would totally do something stupid like riding Griffins around a major city, and stupidly enjoy it the whole time. I love reading about all the different critters playing and frolicking. X3

...they've been picking at the shiny parts of the Slepnir's saddles, and hadn't stopped since you brought them down to the river, and they'd very nearly taken several hooves to the face in their attempts.

Somehow I was much faster at writing this chapter? I might go through and edit some things that I'm not happy with but my heart hurts now why did I do this why do I continue to do this to myself

I might do a little silly thing once our egg finally hatches but I think I've got a good stopping point here; I hope I encompassed just how much fun I had (we all had, really) in this event but I don't think I could put it into words.

Seriously, guys, thank you so much for supporting me and thank you so much to the admins for taking the time that they did with this event to make it so fantastically awesome (and also for supporting me) because it really was a thing to behold.

100% agree with Kalo - it was perfect! You should be super proud of yourself just for finishing, but on top of that it's really well written. And for being sort of written on the fly as new info came out throughout the event? That's crazy! I would never guess if I didn't know - you did such a good job maintaining a sense of purpose and flow throughout the whole thing, and everything felt connected and whole.
