Procrastination.

So basically we can all just talk about our procrastination....like "I have to do a book report, and it's due on Friday, but I didn't start reading the book yet because of my memes."

I'll start: I have benchmarks Monday and Tuesday, and I'm suppose to be studying, but I'm not ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'm also suppose to be practicing my violin, but I'm not...I have a concert on Wednesday.

I'm procrastinating on studying for my comparative vertebrate anatomy practical and tree research by watching anime. XD I didn't get much of a break over this spring break week since I had a class that involved travelling to London and Paris over the break. It was great fun, but now it's really hard to get back into schoolwork.

Every time I have free time to work on things it seems I do everything in my power to avoid doing anything productive whats so ever, and then before I know it it's four in the morning and nothing on my 'I have to do this' and 'I would like to do' lists are crossed off.

Also I get super lazy on the weekends and can't motivate myself to do anything. *rolls over on thread again*

Yeah Procrastination!
I'm really bad about this for papers especially, but honestly almost anything productive I push off until I'm stressed and saying "I work best under pressure" as I have deluded myself on my true capabilities to do anything.
I totally am on here right now instead of writing my culminating research paper, but I have two weeks. It's all good.
Even though I have ~20 pages left and a bunch of social history research to do. But ya know. Two weeks of break. XD

finally, a thread i feel like i can truly spiritually relate to lol
long-term assignments are my worst enemy. something about being given a lot of time to complete a big project just makes me think that i don't have to start it right away, as it's due in a long period of time. all of a sudden, it'd be approximately one week before the giant assignment's due and i'd practically fall off my chair because i'd have forgotten the assignment existed.
as i'm typing this i'm subtly having a breakdown because i have a huge project that was given to me in september due in a couple weeks and i haven't even thought about it since then...

Every night, right before bed. And then I cant get it out of my mind.
