My father, when he was a kid, thought that all cats were female and all dogs were males.

I used to think Hitler was a singer... Whenever I told people they'd look at me with disbelief or laugh XD

I thought that if you broke your arm or leg it would totally fall off your body. Because that is what happened with my dolls.

I used to think - and I'm not sure why I thought this - that on the opposite side of the world there was someone who was exactly like you, doing the exact same things you were doing as you did them. Sort of like a doppelgänger, except you know, they'd be Asian or something. I was a pretty weird kid. XD

I also thought that the last Ice Age killed the dinosaurs.

And when I was really little I used to think all music was called 'The Beatles'. XD

When I was really little I believed that my city was Canada, and when visiting relatives in another city a few hours away I wanted to "go back to Canada." XD yea I guess I was patriotic even as a kid lol

I use to think that reindeer and caribou were completely different. I though that reindeer were only owned by santa and so they were 'mythical' creatures.

When I was little, my family owned one of those Disneyworld/Disneyland dvds that showed off a bunch of the different attractions in the different parks. I always thought that, somehow, the dinosaurs in Animal Kingdom park were real, and had somehow not gone extinct.
I cried when I found out that there really were no dinosaurs left, and that the Disney dinos were just animatronic.
