Before I read it, I thought that Harry Potter had been published far, far earlier than it was. I constantly saw parody names for it alongside parody names for titles like "Anne of Green Gables", "Black Beauty", and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", so I assumed that it fell under the same "vintage classic" category.
