Any Anime/Manga Fans?

Right now I'm in the middle of watching Kiba, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club (fanservice for the girls finally!), and Silver Spoon. ouo

Getbackers is another anime I really love because Ban is just cool, and Ginji is incredibly funny. ^^ I need to read more of the manga because I did like it, there were just a lot of chapters to get through.

Free! is something I want to watch though I usually don't take an interest in a many sports anime. Is it good?

Well, for one thing the art in Free! is beautiful, it looks crisp and the water effects are done really well. I think it's pretty good so far, it throws in some nice humor along with the plot. I don't know your preferences though, so I can't tell if you'll like it or not. I'd say stick around with it 'till the episode where they teach Rei to swim (IMO the funniest one so far) which is about 5 in and make your judgement from there. c:
Also, I don't know if this'll tie into your opinion, but the fanservice for the female audience is really obvious, so prepare for as one reviewer put it, "MUSCLESMUSCLEMUSCLES." XD Though not the bodybuilder kind.

I figured it was a ton of fanservice. Just from the small clips I've seen that was pretty obvious. XD I'll probably watch it once it's completed. Do you know how many episodes there's going to be?

From what I've seen, there'll be 12 episodes. So I don't think you'll have to wait long for it to be finished, with a episode being released pretty much every week. c:

So what's everyone's favorite anime/manga?
I have a ton that I love, Ghost Hunt, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Detective Conan, Skip Beat, Sword Art Online, and several more, but I won't waste your time listing them all out.

I've also recently found myself obsessed with No.6 which scares me because up until this point, I really haven't seen a lot of shounen-ai stuff. I keep telling myself that I don't like it, but really it isn't so bad now that I'm getting used to it.

Skip Beat!! Yes! I love it so much. It's one of the few manga that I actually follow. Kyoko as Setsu has turned out to be very interesting indeed and this latest chapter was so emotional. It's weird to see the president serious. He's always the craziest one.
Have you seen the live drama of Skip Beat? It was made in Taiwan, but they did a reallyawesome job with it.

No, I didn't see the live drama - I'm not quite a fan of adapting AniMa to anything played by real people. I would never want to see what Ren would look like if he was real. It crushes my dreams of being able to find a man in this world who is really good looking, not just 'okay' looking. =O

I'm not a big fan of live dramas either. And like you, I wa pretty skeptical, but the graphics were great (they had Kyoko's little demons running around XD) and the actors they chose were well suited to the part. Even though I really don't like Chinese much, the music was awesome and watching it subbed didn't bother me. Tsuraga was probably more than just 'okay.' Everyone has their own prefrences though.
