I'm surprised that no thread about music has come up now. I myself love music, It is the center to my creative ability and I have found that music helps me think and work better. SO music thread :T
This is basically a place to talk about and discuss music of ALL TYPES.

I'll start; basically I love all types of music; I listen to everything from classical to Screamo, and techno to intramental.

I guess I'll post and share my love for music. ^^ I love music, and I like to have it on whenever I'm drawing or writing.

So what music do I listen to?
Really, all kinds. There seems to be songs in every genre that I like so I can't single out any as being my favorite. My music mostly consists of soundtracks, classical, and folk music One of my favorite bands is the good ol' Dubliners - I love traditional Irish folk songs. And I have a ton of Disney soundtracks, because Disney songs are awesome and never get old. I also love melodysheep's remixes on Youtube - I pretty much stalk those. XP But I often just like putting on the radio and listening to what's popular nowadays. I don't usually pay attention to the artist unless it's something I really, really like.

What is my current favorite song?
Ehh, I don't really have one at the moment. Usually I do, but not today I guess. XP I've mostly just been listening to some of my old CDs lately. I guess my latest CD though would be the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, which I got in Scotland and they rock.

What cant I stand about music?
Talking over music and calling it a song. >< Oh gosh, I really don't like that. It's one thing if your talking has a rhythm to it - that's fine, but if it doesn't it's just bad and it annoys me. Oh, and 90's hip hop really annoys me for some reason. There's always gonna be some songs in certain genres I like, and some I don't.

Some of my favorite instruments - at least sound-wise because I can't play them - are fiddles, flutes, banjos, bagpipes, theremins (which no body seems to ever play, but I think they are so cool and freaky sounding), pianos, and drums. I love drums. ^^

My favorite one is Rin Kagamine.

Another one of my favorite singers is Regina Spektor. What I can't stand about music? Rock. Rock hurts my ears and I generally don't like it.

I'm classical. Yes, I love classical music. I play the violin, and I just really cannot think that some people find classical boring.

Not that I hate other types of music. I do listen to some of the music my sister listens to, but most of the time I forget the titles.
But mostly I sit in my little corner listening to Shostakovich and Piazzolla... and etc. xD

I guess I've never had the interest for other types of music. Actually, jazz is pretty good at times, and some others get stuck in my head too. c:
