hello everyone! Thanks so much for the welcome :D I've been looking around a bit for art but I think I'll have to get more into trading if I want to be able to afford any. Meanwhile I've been looking at story things! so that's been kinda distracting, hehe.

I don't think I've read through the thread enough to see if this has already been asked, but does anyone use jaders in stories / character bonds :o

I do! My Penny is companion to my halfborn girl, Vivize. For the most part, the only thing I have written involving them is Viv's eldsona bio, but they exist in more detail in my head. I really liked the parallel between both having magical and non-magical blood, as Jaders have had most of their magic domesticated out versus halfborns having a conflict of blood that never had magic and that which always did. Vivize is, to some degree, fascinated in the same manner, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it if asked to explain.

Yep!!! My Jader Allegro belongs to a retired Runebarer and is a constant companion and protector for him. Thier story is still in the works for me, but I've been thinking that eventually when his owner dies, Allegro will be inherited by a granddaughter and serve in a similar way for her.
