Looking through the General Discussions forum I was a little disappointed to see there were not clubs that discussed fantasy & sci-fi as a whole. Hence me making one. Here you are able to discuss your favourite TV shows, movies, books, comics, etc as long as they are within the two genres sci-fi and fantasy.

I really liked one book called Enchantress of the Stars by Sylvia Engdhal.

:Why do I enjoy Sci-fi and Fantasy:
I love immersing myself in a world that is different from ours. I have a pretty vivid imagination so I find these times of stories really enjoyable. Creating new and unique worlds with mythical creatures is something I love to do when I write, so it makes sense that I enjoy reading/watching those things too.

There are a couple of TV shows I really want to see that I haven't gotten around to watching like Firefly and Star Trek. Also, I'm super excited for this club. XD

I know, I know!!! I've heard so many great things about it and I've been wanting to watch it so badly but I've been kind of busy lately. However, I am planning on watching it soon! Don't hurt me! Just kidding. XD

The possibilities for what might happen are endless and unpredictable. Something might be going on here that completely stands apart from something over there, and you might find out later that they both are connected despite what you and everyone else first thought. Or, to be honest, I have no idea and just took a liking to Star Trek, then slowly crossed over to other things.
