Thank you for posting that! I probably would've missed it otherwise, as I'm not too terribly active on the site.
I managed to get one of each of the new breeds yesterday, plus one Bright Pink and two Frilled. I was never on the site before either of the breeds were retired, so I'm quite excited! ^^

It's no problem at all! I saw that this thread hadn't been posted in for a bit, and I figured it couldn't hurt to let people know that the event was happening.

Yeah but haven't had a lot of luck growing eggs. Lost a few and so am sticking with one baby at a time now.

I just got started a few days ago, I have 4 hatchlings and 4 eggs (they're all in my signature.) I was wondering if some breed are more valuable than others and if so how can I find out?

The dragons in your signature are pretty much all the same in value except the last one. That one is a holiday dragon and after the event, it will never be found in the cave ever again and all new eggs of it will be bred. CB dragons are always more valuable than bred ones.

And yes, come breeds are rarer or just simply more sought after. Here is a guide to dragon rarities on the Dragon Cave Wiki.

I wish you could trade adult dragons, I'd get so many awesome Eldemore pets for my DC collection which is just rotting away..

I just found this thread and it seems a lot of people are complaining about the DC eggs dying o.o

If, when your eggs get to about 5 days, you use clicksites like Silvi's Lair, Valley Sherwood and Eggs Around The World, it's highly unlikely any of your dragons will die.

I had the same problem when I first started playing but since I discovered clicksites, not one of my eggs has died cx
