Should I spend the 500$ I've been given on a starter sheepy or on one that's for sale?
Second up, do I -have- to buy site currency or is there a way of earning it - I'm reluctant to pay real money to someone who appears to have abandoned the site ...
Any thoughts folks ?

You can gain more money by clicking your own or other people's sheep. It can take a while to gather enough, but it's not difficult to do.

I would suggest saving your money to get a more special sheep.
